I think this situation will not change, unfortunately! If you really want to bring this company on the right track, you MUST wipe out many of the incompetent team leaders there who have been promoted in the past 15 years in a non-professional manner!

An utter disaster. You wonder which personal and professional qualifications many of the "team leads" have helped them to get such leading positions?! NON. It will not take you a lot of time to recognize that they have climbed due to "connections"!

most of the companies outside will pay you more for the time you are investing there, unless you are working as a consultant with a lot of time where you have a actually not much tasks to do for a period of time.
