Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

There seemed to be some kind of learning curve this year between the first round of layoffs and the second. People are now given the chance to do handovers and say goodbye, which is a step in the right direction.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

That there doesn't seem to be a strategy to turn things around and stop the downwards movement. The ship is without a captain.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Establish a culture of true transparency with your employees, they value more to hear how difficult things are and how the Roadmap to change looks like instead of hearing nothing but good news and success stories. Find out where your real value drivers are and protect those teams and their team members at all costs.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

After Sharpist cut down their headcount significantly this year, there is a lot of pressure on the remaining employees and the atmosphere has changed a lot. It used to be open and honest, now the trust is lost.

Kommunikation

What's being communicated to the public has nothing to do with the internal communication. There are regular "employee nps scores", "quarterly reviews" and "development plans", but they are with no effect. Negative feedback is being ignored, teams with an eNPS score of -70 are being told that they "are going through a phase" and instead of working with the employees towards their goals they are being transferred from one team to another without prior consultation.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The ones that are left are clinging together and lifting each other up. Great talents with awesome potential that will surely be valued by their next job.

Work-Life-Balance

Depending on the team the pressure is more or less high. With the same amount of work being shouldered by lot less people the balance is off in a lot of teams.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The middle management is almost always very engaged, supportive and tries their best for their team, unfortunately the C-level is confronting them with erratic decisions and sudden policy changes, which makes effective teamwork almost impossible.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There are almost none

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Low salary compared to similar positions in larger companies (Sharpist seems to only evaluate against other startups), requests for pay raises are being dragged along or met with disappointing offers.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There is no future to be built in this company. employees can make use of the Sharpist coaching.
