The blame game is on. Nobody wants responsibility for failure and a lot of time is spent covering your ass just in case something goes wrong (or somebody else effs up and you get blamed for it)

I was never asked to work overtime and when you’re off, you’re off. But that depends on whether you are able to do that. If you can’t set boundaries, they’ll take advantage.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
They set you up for failure, then divide and conquer. In public, they offer help but then when you ask for it they either ignore you, don’t have solutions or blame you.

It depends a lot on the department. Many managers are there just because they were there first but they are inadequate and not being trained. A lot of people are there because they know someone.
