The colleagues are friendly. The directors have a real talent to put together a team that gels together- which is one of the major strengths of this company. Colleagues are young and friendly, work life balance is excellent.

Communication within the team is easy, everyone is approachable. The director of the language travel side of the business always finds time for the employees, creating an atmosphere where it is OK to talk about anything. In my experience, consideration was always given for personal issues and management was highly supportive in all situations- the key is to be open to the way the company works- hierarchical structures common in most large organisations don't exist here- so colleagues have an opportunity to really develop themselves by volunteering to take on responsibilities in other areas- a great way to develop new skills. From this perspective the reverse can also be true- colleagues who don't wish to branch out of their areas and take initiative will find that they do not develop further.

Regular starting salary for this industry- which is not a high paying industry- applicants should consider this- the chance to take on responsibility and ownership of projects right after university is more than worth the tradeoff, these opportunities just don't exist elsewhere. Many ex employees have now taken high paying jobs elsewhere, either in the same or in different industries- it's definitely a kick start to the career
