Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Once a decent middle-of-the-pack Dienstleister, nowadays Sulzer has not got much to offer.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Does Sulzer have a plan? The company has made a pretty optimistic prognosis for 2021, but the salary raises are still frozen, other benefits as well and the people keep leaving. There a lot of other great companies in areas such as Stuttgart or München, so one can lose his motivation pretty quickly and look for a job elsewhere. Maybe place the focus on the employees, invest in the future and make an effort to keep them. Just my 2 cents.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

It is a big company, so anyone has got their own experience - mine has been great!

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salary levels were around the average until recent, but the last two years have been pretty bad - raises are blocked, no year bonus, no budget for external trainings, not really any social benefits. So what would make Sulzer attractive then? The corona crisis cannot be an excuse anymore for bad financial parameters - there are a lot of other companies, which are booming, no wonder many developers are leaving the company and new people are being hired at a very low rate.

Arbeitgeber-Kommentar

Dear Employee,

Thank you for taking the time to write a personal review.

We regret it when talented colleagues leave us and seek a new challenge. But a certain amount of fluctuation is part of everyday working life. At the moment, we are not seeing a significant upward swing compared to the last few years. Our headcount has remained largely constant despite the global challenges.

The salary structure at Sulzer remains in line with the industry average. In addition, we have a fair, employee-friendly overtime scheme, which is still a positive exception in the service industry.

Performance-related bonuses, such as the annual bonus, are always linked to the company's success, as is the case in other companies. In economically difficult times, including the effects of the Corona pandemic, we temporarily do not pay out these additional benefits. In the event of further positive development, we will of course again allow our employees to participate directly in the company's success in the form of annual bonus payments.

We offer our employees a wide range of benefits, including flexible working hours, parking spaces, home office, employee discounts and much more. Unfortunately, due to Corona, certain benefits such as employee events cannot take place at the moment.

Best regards
The Management/Human Resources Department
