When you have the feeling that you are part of a team, that talks about being one big family, and from one day on the other you join a weekly meeting just to hear that you are being fired, all trust, hope and beliefs fail. Especially when the reasoning is that they always appreciated your work, and you did a great job, but they decided to change things internally. No package offered, no new position offered, no solution. Just a 'please hand in your company items asap and thank you'. 1 month notice. And this while other dedicated long-term colleagues around you also received the same message a few months earlier and/or in the similar period. Easy replacement for cheaper labour.
