Management, work-life-balance, office space, company philosophy, ignorance, lies, pressure, ...
Take care of employees desires, create a comfortable working atmosphere, value those sacrificing their time to work for you, they don't need you but you need them. And when you make mistakes, just admit them instead of insisting to be right while everything goes down the drain.
Unbearable, too much pressure
It's all about money, customer or employee satisfaction don't count at all. It tries to appear as a great start-up, but this image does not reflect the atmosphere in the office. In my opinion, it is also very surprising how after every honest, critical review magically a very positive review appears here.
Work-life-balance none-existent. Working over-time is expected. Group-pressure regarding working hours? You bet!
Does this create revenue? - then probably nobody cares.
"flat hierarchy" not only means you have to work full scale even as an intern, but also that there is nowhere to rise to.
Colleagues suffer together, so strong bonds are built
Nobody stays that long. Almost everyone is below or around 30.

Das Arbeitsumfeld von Vitafy ist sehr schnelllebig. Das hat den Vorteil, dass sich immer wieder interessante und vielfältige Möglichkeiten ergeben. Desweiteren kann man tatsächlich im Gegensatz zum Arbeiten im Konzern auch Ideen realisieren. Dazu hat das Management immer ein offenes Ohr. Da das ganze Team in bester Müchener Lage an einem Standort ist und jeder Mitarbeiter jederzeit ansprechbar ist, sind die Wege nicht nur physisch "kurz". Zu guter Letzt durch die Karrierechancen bei Vitafy sehr gut schnell in verantwortungsvolle Positionen zu kommen.
- Die Technik lässt die Arbeit zu oft im Stich (Telefone, Internet) und Meeting Räume sind oft doppelt gebucht.
Die Teamevents und sportlichen Challenges unbedingt beibehalten!
If you are a student and want something to write on your CV, then it might be good to work as a working student at Vitafy. 4-6 months are enough. There are so many (onerous) tasks to do, that some colleagues work at weekends.
One of the reasons is that a task is sometimes too much to achieve the goal.
"Design a new web page in order to change the color of buttons."
Of course, this is not a real example, but there are tasks like this. "It is very nice if you add the function", even though they do not need it at all. You may be able to achieve the goal in a day if you ignore the task, but you may need one week to get the task done. Because the goal itself is small, you might be judged as a lazy person if you do not finish the task in a day.
You may even find tasks with no goals. It might be said, "later we will think about how we make use of what you did". I hat to do a certain task relevant to their business, but I am sure that they never look at the results. This means that my work was not evaluated (or it was just ignored). But it is OK for me because I could learn something.
Anyway there are lots of things to do. In several months you will have things to write on your CV and it will be time to look for a next job.
Vitafy employes a traditional management style, therefore you should not expect that you can commit any company decision even though Vitafy is a "start-up".
