Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

1. Pays good salary (to SOME people), they actually paid me more than I requested (how weird!), 2. excellent location in the center of Berlin, 3. lots of young sympathic people (that share the same problems and frustration), 4. beautiful office

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

IN GENERAL:
Unfortunately I can confirm all the negative comments about the company. The company has several CEOs (!) which leads to chaos, a tense and unsympathic atmosphere, extreme working hours, effectively no management, no project management (no skilled people), no onboarding (you start there and nobody knows anything), no HR (there's actually no HR, just interns trying to do the job).

IN IT DEPARTMENT:
Sorry to say, but working at Watchmaster was the most frustrating experience I had within 15+ years in the industry. No knowledge, no experience, no social competence, no onboarding, no training, no leading, IT is nearly 90% non-german underpayed junior developers who have their first job, the result is a code-monkey like workstyle, bad quality, frustrating useless and impossible tasks and very slow and ineffective development. All the good people have quit or got fired (who fires hard-to-find developers ?), basically all the people who created this company have left. Most of the time I had nothing to do or got tasks that had nothing to do with the skillset i was hired for. Trying to make things better will be blocked, development standards are totally ignored. Good developers leave, the bad stay.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Replace several leading positions with good, experienced and social people, listen to feedback of employees, stick to overall accepted business standards, introduce moral standards. Hire good and experienced developers and put them into leading positions. The wrong people are in the wrong positions there.
