- getting more international (also non-german speakers mostly welcome)
- flexibility & salary package
- interesting tasks
- the sector itself
- green working environment in the making
- communication could be improved
- more people & culture related initiatives (New Work related)
Nice work atmosphere, wetter.com tries to motivate people to get-together after work, we use the 3 days per month (aka office days) to make the most of it and catch up on the social aspect of the work (meetings, brainstorms, lunch breaks...). We have great offsites.
great, highly recognizable in DACH, no negative image attached to the brand or employer
Work-life-balance is possible depending on your workload.
wetter.com offers "Gleitzeiten" & "Kernarbeitszeiten" between 10-15 (mon-thu) & 10-14 (fri). Of course this is highly depending on your manager.
30 days vacation & "Sonderurlaube" & 24.12 + 31.12 off. All in all, the flexibility offered thanks to home office and trust is very valuable and highly valued.
Seems to be doable but it is a relatively small companies (100 pax approx) so we don't have that many new job oppenings or opportunities in-house from what I could see. Willigness to aknowledge achievements and promotion highly depends on P7 Sat1, monetary aknowledgment are not a prio.
Various in-house trainings are offered but personal choices from external provides seems difficult to get.
I would say that the pay is probably market average.
We have a few benefits like any big corporate (Mitarbeiterangebote, Job rad, urban sports, in-house skill enhancement...) because we are directly affiliates to Pro7 Sat1.
You can take your dog to the office, limited parking space if you need to commute with car.
No bonus however or extra payments.
We have a new CSR initiative in place with loads of great initiatives and great participation from all employees. Overall the scope of the business itself makes it impossible to discredit social & environmental issues, and this is highly embeded in employees' behavior. We also see that stakeholders wish to move towards a more sustainable work environment.
I have an amazing team and I felt welcomed from the first moment on.
Sometimes it's difficult to get a grip on your colleagues because we work in 3 offices, but this is also just related to the fact that the workforce is relatively small (approx 100 pax) so beeing splitted in 3 offices is sometimes a bit difficult for communication and working together. The company policy does however promote business travels to meet with your team and make the most out of office days.
I would say we have a high workforce median age which is great because we have all level of seniors & juniors present and I don't see and pushback when it comes to age. Your skills matter in the first place.
Respectful and professional
New Work concept is in the making.
Within Team:
- Our manager is open to feedback, however communication is not always very transparent
- wetter.com doesn't have a proper feedback culture implemented (yearly, bi-yearly talks with objectives for ex)
Within Company:
- Communication seems to be problematic, wetter.com uses a multitude of tools to communicate and store information (Teams, Outlook, Slack, Confluence) it's too much and very messy
- Every month there is a all hand's meeting/company update to share numbers and answer questions = very valuable
- There is a kind of unwritten rule that everyone is involved in and aware of everything (and nothing) which does the opposite of promoting openess and can make things messier
Yes
Yes and evolving responsibilities are possible
Die Überstunden Regelung, die Büros, manche Kollegen, Gehalt, viel Freiraum
GF Verhalten, keinen Firmenweiten Zusammenhalt
