Probably give in to going bankrupt or just sell to one of the competitors who were clearly better at building a functioning network and systems.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

There's a constant feeling of urgency. Management gets involved in minor details and is nowhere to be found when actual help would be needed. There's pressure for really irrelevant deadlines and targets.

No one seems to like working for Workmotion unless you have the attitude of "it's just a job and I will clock out early/on time". If you identify with your work this place will screw you.

Work-Life-Balance

It is supposedly asynchronous work but the workload is so high that it doesn't matter because you're glued to your laptop for 10+ hours if you're trying to keep up with the work anyways.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

They currently are solely promoting employees in low income countries. The budget for learning - development is small as is and every wish will get denied first until your manager steps in.

Gehalt/Benefits

They paid badly but on top also took away a benefit in the beginning of 2023. It was never replace by anything.

I've had the worst leadership in my career at Workmotion. My manager hasn't been a manager in his prior position and he wasn't supported by coaching or mentoring. He had very little idea of how inspiring leadership would look like.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Got the worst laptop I've ever had, a 300€ Lenovo, no extra screens.

Kommunikation

There are All Hands Meetings that are supposed to give a sense of understanding but unfortunately the management uses these meetings for gaslighting and sugar coating.

You make career at Workmotion if you are one of the founders buddies or are willing to become one.

Interessante Aufgaben

The tail of automation towards the customer is great but there is so much manual labor that goes into the product. There are constant mistakes in invoices, contracts, the information that is given by support because their knowledge base is outdated or has no information.. the list goes on. So everyone is constantly doing the same things or really odd and urgent things. There is no structure in the work.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Es wird einem vertraut, dass die Arbeit erledigt wird. Man wird nicht kontrolliert, man darf sich seine Zeiten einteilen wie man möchte. Home Office ist kein Problem (Da remote Firma). Für einen flexiblen Lifestyle und eine gesunde Work-Life-Balance perfekt.

Mehr Benefits. Es wird stets versucht, allen Niederlassungen in etwa die gleichen Benefits zu geben. Das ist einerseits natürlich super - jedoch halten sich die Anzahl dieser dadurch in Grenzen.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Es wird einem vertraut. Arbeiten wie und wann du willst, solange man seine Aufgaben erfüllt. Jeder hilft jedem und es herrscht ein liebes, offenes Arbeitsklima - selbst zu stressigen Zeiten

Work-Life-Balance

Da man sich seine Zeiten selbst einteilt und sehr flexibel arbeiten kann, hängt dies ein wenig von einem selbst ab. Wann arbeite ich länger, wenn es nötig ist, wann klappe ich den Laptop zu... Hat man dies selbst im Griff ist die Work-Life-Balance jedoch nicht vergleichbar!

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Es gibt ein Fortbildungsbudget. Grundsätzlich ist daran gelegen, dass Leute sich weiterentwickeln und Arbeit wird belohnt.

Gehalt/Benefits

Could be more :) aber es wird sich stets bemüht neue Benefits hinzuzufügen und das Gehalt dem Wohnort und der Leistung anzupassen.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Durch den Start-up Charakter gibt es wenig ältere Kollegen. Die, die es gibt werden aber behandelt wie jeder andere auch.

Natürlich ist jeder Vorgesetzte anders, meine eigenen Erfahrungen sind jedoch durchweg positiv. Support, wenn ich ihn brauche, Arbeiten auf Augenhöhe, vollstes Verständnis auch für persönliche Challenges...

Durch den Start-Up Charakter wird es nie langweilig. Man hat immer die Chance, neue Dinge auszuprobieren und sich in neue Aufgaben reinzufuchsen. Es wird nie langweilig
