Great start for career beginners! However, if you don’t want to stay a beginner, you should move on.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Among colleagues, there was always a family-like atmosphere, but the managers lived in their own bubble.
Kommunikation
Communication from the top only included what was considered necessary. Employees were not trusted to handle, for example, negative news well. In general, people were kept in the dark about their own professional future.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Most colleagues were replaced by temporary workers from another European country, where there is intense and unhealthy competition among them. The colleagues in Berlin were reduced in number, and there is only limited solidarity — without a works council, no one dares to stand up for their own rights or those of their colleagues.
Work-Life-Balance
From 100% remote work back to mandatory office days, without any clear benefit to performance or success. The great thing, however, is that you’re allowed to work from abroad for up to three months a year.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
“Fake it till you make it” kind of managers.
I personally was lucky with my own supervisor, but the rest of the management in the company doesn’t seem particularly competent — not even on a human level.
Interessante Aufgaben
Not unless you create your own tasks
Gehalt/Benefits
This company has been stuck at the start-up stage for the past ten years — and that’s also reflected in the salaries.
Image
I think most people have a neutral attitude toward the company from the outside — mainly because they don’t really know it.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I really learned a lot, but that knowledge only pays off if you manage to move on after a certain time. Unfortunately, within the company, what you’ve learned is of little use.
