Great team - regardless of the project, collaboration with colleagues is always smooth and respectful. The team is more than just a group of coworkers; genuine friendships often develop. Feedback is consistently constructive, with helpful suggestions for improvement. Achievements are recognized and celebrated together, which fosters motivation and creates a positive atmosphere.

At times, the overall mood within the company feels divided. Some employees are fully aligned with the company’s vision, while others express dissatisfaction and are considering leaving.
Work-Life-Balance
The standard work week is 42 hours, with 26 vacation days. Remote work opportunities are fairly limited, and overtime is generally not compensated. However, the flexibility in working hours is a definite plus.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There is the so-called Yatta Academy, which offers interesting topics; however, there is no formal training program. In order to receive a salary increase or promotion, regularly working overtime is generally expected.

At the team level, leadership is generally transparent and well-communicated. However, on a company-wide level, employees are typically not involved in important decision-making processes.
Arbeitsbedingungen
All necessary equipment – and even more – is provided. This includes height-adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and high-performance laptops. Upon request, mechanical keyboards or vertical mice are also available. While the headsets are specifically designed for use with Teams, they occasionally cause issues. The office in Frankfurt is air-conditioned, whereas in Kassel, the temperatures in the office can become quite uncomfortable during warmer periods.
Kommunikation
Communication within each team is generally left to the team itself. In all of my projects, internal team communication has been very effective. However, company-wide communication could be improved. Important information is sometimes shared indirectly and with a delay, as it is not always communicated through official channels. On the other hand, company successes are communicated promptly.
Gehalt/Benefits
The salary is competitive when viewed in relation to the market average, though it's important to consider the 42-hour work week and 26 days of vacation. There are no additional social benefits. A bonus system is in place, but it is designed with long-term employment in mind.
Interessante Aufgaben
The projects are engaging and offer interesting challenges. Although much of the work involves legacy code, there are still opportunities to introduce innovative concepts and ideas.
