I can not recommend it. The well-being of employees didn't seem to be a priority. Few options for growth, in my opinion.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

There are some positive aspects to this company, and if it weren't, allegedly, engaging in extensive censorship of any opinion that doesn't portray them favorably, I would have liked to speak about them. However, I find the degree of dishonesty and refusal to acknowledge their own mistakes both revolting and alarming. I have been informed (by former colleagues) that an increasing number of employees are leaving, yet it seems that any attempt at providing feedback is being, in my view, suppressed. Consequently, I cannot, in good conscience, express any positive sentiments about any aspect of this company, as the overall cumulative score is abysmal. I sincerely hope they learn some lessons from this situation, but until then, it is advisable to maintain as much distance as possible.
Recently, I noticed that five negative reviews have vanished from this website. It raises the question of whether these reviews were dishonest or if the individuals who wrote them were simply being untruthful. While we can't definitively answer that, it does raise concerns about the transparency and integrity of the website. Considering this situation, it becomes essential to ask yourself if you are willing to take the risk associated with engaging with this company, given the possibility of such manipulations.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

My overall experience with the company was negative, and I felt a sense of relief upon leaving.
I would like to emphasize that the opinion expressed above is solely my own and should not be attributed to my other 5 colleagues who left or other employees who expressed wishes to leave. It is important to recognize that opinions can be subjective and may not necessarily reflect the experiences of others. However, I believe it is crucial to approach this company with caution and thoroughly inquire about important matters during the interview process. Seeking clarification and asking pertinent questions can help ensure that you make an informed decision and avoid potential issues in the future.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Throughout my time at the company, I consistently emphasized the importance of listening to people's opinions, even when there were disagreements. I firmly believe that it is crucial to value subjective feelings and perspectives as they contribute to the overall atmosphere and success of a company. While it is true that companies prioritize customer satisfaction, I believe that aligning employee goals with the company's vision is equally essential. Neglecting the well-being and goals of employees can result in customer dissatisfaction, as well as the loss of time and resources invested in training employees who eventually choose to leave.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The workplace atmosphere felt increasingly bleak towards the end of my time there. My colleagues often discussed feeling overwhelmed with their workload and wanting to leave, which was unlike any other company I had worked for before. Additionally, what to me seemed, the high frequency of sick leave among employees was a clear indicator that the work environment was not healthy. Personally, I did not feel a sense of belonging to the company, and based on the fact that five other employees resigned within a span of two months, I assume that I was not alone in feeling this way.

Kommunikation

The communication structure seemed to be one-directional, with little regard for my input. When providing feedback, I often felt disregarded and dismissed, even to the point of feeling gaslighted.

While this opinion may seem radical and outlandish to some, I firmly believe that a company should have a dedicated individual responsible for handling employee issues. It is not appropriate for this role to be filled by a trainer or anyone from management.

Before joining this company, it may be wise to inquire about the expectation of working outside of office hours or on weekends. It would also be beneficial to request written documentation of this information to avoid any potential misunderstandings or conflicts. I can not stress this enough.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

During my time with the company, I had a good relationship with my co-workers. I did have the pleasure of meeting some genuinely wonderful individuals, and I'm delighted to say that I still maintain contact with a few of them to this day, although our shared grievences served as the foundation for our bond.
I would say that my interactions with colleagues were primarily one-on-one. In contrast to my experiences at other companies where I felt like part of a collective, I didn't get that sense here. However, I acknowledge that this is purely my personal opinion.

Work-Life-Balance

In the Dispo department, achieving work-life balance means accommodating your entire life around your work. The start of the workday can vary between 7 AM and 11 AM according to the shift plan, with a one-hour break (In my opinion, this policy seemed like a tactic to prolong attendance rather than a genuine need for a break. While this might be just my observation, taking a one-hour break during peak hours when all colleagues are present felt like a way to make employees stay until later, when fewer colleagues were around. I may be wrong, but the impression I had was that the break policy was not in the interest of the employee.)

It is time to address the Late-shift: employees starting at 11AM can recieve a phone that could potentially ring after 8PM and on weekends. Answering the call is not mandatory, just "encouraged". It might be possible to have multiple late shifts within a year.

Although this information is totally;) disclosed during the interview, it is however advisable to request as many details as possible. Ultimately, it is left to your discretion to determine if receiving phone calls outside of regular office hours is something that appeals to you.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

From a leadership standpoint, the company's performance was, in my opinion, subpar. Although those in managerial positions exhibited some degree of competence, they lacked, in my opinion, crucial interpersonal skills. It seemed to me that the Peter Principle was fully at play, as employees seemed to me to be promoted to positions for which they seemed not yet prepared.

I believe that a management that lacks trust in its employees, disregards their well-being, and fails to motivate them is unlikely to thrive.

Interessante Aufgaben

In my experience, the work was generally enjoyable and not particularly stressful. However, it's worth noting that the workload can vary significantly throughout the year, with some periods being relatively quiet while others can be highly intense. Moreover, assisting in organizing transportation can provide a sense of fulfillment that is often lacking in many other office jobs.
I found certain aspects of the company to be unacceptable from my perspective. The late shift arrangement, most notably the practice of allowing on-line transport bookings as late as 7:59PM for the morning of the following day (before 9AM), were particularly bothersome to me. Receiving a booking at 7:30PM and having to rush to organize the transport on time could be frustrating. I perceived this as disrespectful of employees' time. It's possible that circumstances have changed since then, so I would recommend asking about these specific issues during the interview to ensure you have the most up-to-date information and to clarify any concerns you may have.

Gleichberechtigung

Based on my observation (and personal experience within other companies), it appears that there is a slight underrepresentation of women in leadership positions within the company, particularly in the Dispo department. At the time of my resignation, the majority of the team members were women, but the management roles, including the department manager and 2 out of the 3 team leaders, were held by men. However, it is important to note that I do not know the reasons for this and I do not wish to speculate on them and that it may be possible that these dynamics have changed since then.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

The majority of employees are under the age of 40. It is not surprising to observe that those who have been employed at the company for an extended period of time tend to have a more familiar relationship with the management team.
While it may vary depending on individual circumstances, I personally did not notice the same level of familiarity developing between the management and more recent (foreign) colleagues.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Work desks have four monitors. This can be advantageous for managing and organizing tasks efficiently. In my opinion, having multiple monitors allows for better multitasking and increases productivity. Since most of the work involves using web browsers, the tasks are typically straightforward and do not require complex software or tools.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

In my opinion, the company's goals do not appear to align with addressing social or climate issues. Express transportation is, in my opinion, not a sustainable practice. Although this is an issue for the whole industry not this particular company, I did not observe any significant efforts or initiatives aimed at promoting eco-friendliness within the company.

In terms of social and fairness aspects, there is, in my opinion, a lot of room for improvement. From my perspective, the company's primary goal seems to be maximizing profit, even if it comes at the expense of drivers who struggle to make ends meet. Are drivers the responsibilty of this company? No. However, I wish this company aimed to be a positive influence on the industry by prioritizing fairness and sharing the profit with those who do the work.

The one notable aspect that stands out is the on-time payment, which is not a given in the industry. In my opinion, however, the bar is quite low, and there is more that could be done.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

In my opinion, the salary and compensation package at the company can be considered average for the industry, but only if you disregard the late shift. Salaries are paid on time, and there is a quarterly bonus, although the specific conditions for receiving the bonus are, in my opinion, not clearly stipulated in the contract.
Based on discussions with my colleagues, I have observed that there can be significant disparities in pay within the company. In my experience, the salary ranges and structures were not transparently communicated, at least not to me. This lack of transparency can lead to uncertainty and perceptions of inequality among employees.

It is important to note that in my opinion, the compensation for the late shift was also inadequate. During my time in the company, overtime was not compensated through free time. It is important to inquire about these specific issues during the interview process, as they may have since been addressed or changed.

Image

From my perspective, the company tries very hard to project a positive image. Whether or not they succeed in doing so is a matter of individual interpretation and opinion.
It appears to me that the manager is actively involved in maintaining a positive image for the company on this website. In recognition of their dedication, I made an effort to provide a subjective review that solely reflects my own opinion and experiences. I believe it is important to acknowledge their commitment to presenting the company in a favorable light as well as, what might be considered, an "attempts to control information flow".

Karriere/Weiterbildung

In my observation, the company still maintains a start-up culture. This implies, in my opinion, limited opportunities for rapid advancement or career growth, particularly in the short term. The promotion process appeared opaque to me, as it seemed less like a competitive selection and more like individuals being appointed to new positions based on the sole decision of upper management.
