Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

There is nothing I dislike at z+ apart from the “everything was better in the past”-comments. That drags me down.

There are a high number of projects being addressed at the same time at the moment. I hope, once these are being finalized, we will able to reduce number of new project at the same time and focus even more.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

I am looking forward to more clarity on company values.

Also, after listening to employee feedback and taking action on some feedback already from employer-side, it will be great to see even more initiatives being taken to react on specific feedback. Everyone with a “can-do” attitude can contribute here, z+ as an employer can ensure the right environment.

Although we have many systems are in place already, in some departments work still is quite manual. It would be great seeing even more effort and push for digitization.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

I experience a mix of “let’s do it” / “yes, we can” and “in the past everything had been better”. Depends on the perspective and the mindset, I guess.
The workload is high, yet the work is very interesting in the area I work in.

Kommunikation

There are regular company-wide town halls as well as departmental all hands. On top every team has there their own sequence of meetings. Overall a fair amount of communication channels.
Sometimes it feels we have a (too) high number of meetings, yet there is still information on certain topics missing.

I like the opportunity to work in an environment of growth and change and have the feeling that I can make use of my strength.

Gleichberechtigung

Equality of female and male leaders in middle management and also many female leaders in upper management. Could be better at top management level. Recently many top and upper level managers have been hired externally, I guess, it would be great, to provide internal talents with opportunities to develop into upper level management as well/more.
I have seen many examples though for individual contributors to develop into leadership roles, with or without leading direct reports.

Also, many peers coming back from parental leave in either part-time or full-time roles.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I don’t see any difference in how people are being treated at zooplus. I experience the interaction with each other as respectful, haven’t made any bad experience. Senior talents are not being excluded from hiring, although the number is lower than other age groups.

Arbeitsbedingungen

I appreciate the location in the city centre, just minutes away from train and subway. The offices in Munich are split into two locations some minutes apart from each other, but a new locations will be opened this year (2024), looking forward to moving there and being able to meet even more colleagues on a more regular basis.
Offices are equipped with adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs. In most offices air con.
Appreciate technology in most meeting-rooms to serve hybrid meetings.

On same days, it is a little packed these days in the office, but I don’t mind it; there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

I think, we can get better here. I like the “giving back” initiatives in our z+ offices in Madrid and Krakau. <3

There are many negative comments on this page which does not reflect the reality from my perspective. There is debate around the change happening comparing “old times” with today. I haven’t been with z+ prior to 2022, but I believe that change is necessary for a company to stay competitive, to deliver better products and services for customers and also to provide a better set-up for team-members. During that journey, not everything runs smoothly right away, what do you expect? As long as there is awareness and willingness to continuously aim for improvement…

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Personally, I think there are career development opportunities, but the career path is not clear yet. It also depends a bit, in which area/job role a person is working.

Z+ offers trainings opportunities likes LinkedIn Learning for the entire company, some in-house trainings, possibility to attend external trainings and conferences.
