Abwechslungsreiche Aufgaben in technisch spannendem Bereich.
Good work life balance and flexibility, great company events and benefits
The management sometimes doesn't listen to the employees, they only care about achieving goals, even if the goals don't make sense or are executed very poorly
There is a good atmosphere in the company overall. Good working colleagues and office air conditioning are bonus points. I applied for an inhouse technician position. Kununu apparently doesnt let me mention specific names but the young HR person I worked with during the hiring process was great. The recruitment process with her was a breeze.
Equipment I got for technical issues was top notch.
Canteen could be slightly bigger, you wont get a seat on some days - but the good food makes up for it.
Good for most people working there.
Dont know enough about this one to be honest. Looked finde to me. Majority of people who work here are on the younger side though.
Gehalt.
Oft laut und unruhig, was konzentriertes Arbeiten erschwerte.
Interesting Tech-Field, that you might not expect.
Very creative and outgoing co-workers.
Well lived agile development, that sometimes has to content with "too many meeting" struggles agile development often brings - BUT takes that seriously and tries to adapt and adjust if needed.
Great work equipment.
Unsteady processes that are changed what appears to be on a whim.
Top-Down management where feedback does not reach up enough.
Poor communication of Vision & Changes - and the reasoning behind those.
Decisions are made to please the mother-company not what would be most effective for the people working or the product.
Managers/Teamleads of varying quality that make your life inside Greentube a Gamble.
I have giving all my feedback in my offboarding meeting - only to be faced with an HR that found my feedback "funny" instead of taking me seriously.
Within the teams and with colleagues: great - everywhere else you are faced with lots of pressure without much support.
Going above and beyond will not be recognized in any tangible ways - while high performing employees can be gone the next day if they rock the boat too much.
The HR is toothless and in some forms quite dangerous to interact with for that reason.
Its novo adjacent and gambling - the image will never be great.
No complaint there - despite the pressure, I have never faced troubles when standing my ground on boundaries of Work/Life Balance topics.
Career paths are clear - only most career paths have a very fixed end where you plateu.
Standard - maybe even slightly above average if you are willing to haggle and know the right balance of "rocking the boat"
Only on Paper & Linked-In
Depends on the team I guess - but if you are in the chaos - you are in it together.
Varies - I have seen older collegues that were motivated be walled from climbing the corporate later when they haven't told certain people what they like - but on the other hand I have seen old colleagues being treated very kindly and with a lot of support. Again - Results may vary.
HIGHLY HIGHLY dependant on who your higher up is. You either get the greatest mentor that develops you greatly and helps you achieve or you have a vindictive manager (protected by HR and other Higher Ups) that makes you go away when you challenge/rock the boat too much.
Bein set up to fail often happens - sexism is absolutely present (despite HR saying it doesn't), and some Managers offer 0 Support or Leadership for their teams.
Fittingly enough: who you get is a total gamble ;)
Also: once you make notions of leaving you will hear nothing from any of your managers, no matter what your quality of work was you will be treated poorly.
From a very fair Home Office agreement to a very restrictive RTO Policy and in general volatile organizational structure.
In 3 years I witnessed 3 department restructurings - since none of the measures get the room to establish and actually start working before things get changed again - because they do not work as efficiently as higher ups wish they would.
Subpar Communication. Things are communicated in the most bare-bones way - people are then not available for clarifications on high-impact changes. Sometimes changes such as the RTO Policy and new HO Policy is communicated only days in advance before they hit - or communicated so ahead of the time that nobody can tell you what the change will entail.
The Vision at least in the Software Departments does not extend beyond "make all the money" - while higher ups constantly praise themselves on communicating their vision so well.
Hard to gauge - me personally have been treated fairly - I did see my fair share of sexism though. Results may vary.
Despite being in the world of online casinos - the technologies behind them are state of the art and diverse.
The Development Department strives to be on top of technological trends without falling into the trap of buzzwords or overpromised tech.
You CAN develop greatly as a developer and have interesting parts of a huge tech stack to explore - if you do not get hit by the organizational dangers the company poses.
2 homeoffice days per week
Depends on team
Sehr unterschiedlich. Je nachdem in welches Team man blickt.
You have quite a few perks, like several sports and health offers, the possibility to borrow company cars or bikes, plus several discount programmes. As well several official and unofficial events.
And I personally enjoyed the canteen - two different menus every day with the option to order ‘speciality dishes’ - you guys do a great job!
I think you will understand my points by reading my statements below.
Listen to your employees, think about the criticism. With so many people speaking up, maybe there's a problem that needs to be solved - and I don't just mean the Novo people.
While onboarding is (or at least was a dream), offboarding is non-existent - I got not offered any off boarding meetings with neither HR nor my manager.
HR could perhaps avoid many harsh reviews here on kununu if they had an improved off boarding procedure.
There are some toxic elements and although they have been addressed to managers and HR, they still haven't been dealt with.
Ever since the two Novomatic guys joined, the work environment has been on an epic downturn. I wonder how much longer it can go on before someone higher up asks themselves some questions.
Even though the motto is sustainable growth, it's still about earning as much as possible and milking the cows.
Some good colleagues in between kept me going
It used to be better, now it's gone downhill - I'm not sure they've hit bottom yet.
A 3+2 hybrid solution, with rather flexible working hours. Tbh, I personally can't complain, but I now other do, since they were used to a 100% HO solution, and got forced back in the office (while having had some record-breaking years in the HO-period), without any logical reasons
I've learnt that it's best not to ask for more. If you stick to your path without trying to achieve more, you'll be fine.
At least this part is rather great. Although, a few toxic elements not being dealt with, can spoil it for the greater good
The business may not appeal to ‘the elderly’, but there aren't that many of them in Greentube.
As long as you don't shout out loud, you'll be fine
The equipment is fine and it is regularly updated or replaced, especially if you ask for it with a valid reason.
But working many people (like +50) in a room where several have different calls and meetings is quiet and disruptive.
There is communication. It's just not very good.
The best example is the RTO. No logical justification was given for it and when questions were asked, those responsible for the decision and communication closed themselves off like oysters.
I imagine there are a few individuals (we're back to the Novo guys) pulling the strings, while the rest of the headless chickens try to defend their decisions to keep their skins on
You get a fair salary. But I wouldn't expect anything else with the profit being made in the company.
Have a look at the board
Its casino - hard to reinvent the wheel several times
So verdient kununu Geld.
