The group you’ll be a part of

In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.

The impact you’ll make

You will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights to support data-driven decisions. By building scalable solutions and working with cross-functional teams, you will improve analysis and reporting while ensuring data quality and driving innovation. This will help to advance equipment intelligence across the company.

What you’ll do

  • Build production-grade Python packages.
  • Follow and build project scaffolds (PowerShell), follow coding standards, and reproducible workflows.
  • Transform analyses into standardized currently best-known methods (cBKM)
  • Process data and automate data flows; manage and optimize data structure & data bases for big data sets.
  • Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
  • Interpret and communicate data analysis results and experiments to product, service & business managers.
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards.
  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Support to setup iterating reports, analysis and dashboards.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor or Master Degree: Statistics/Computer Science/Data Science/ /Industrial Engineering
  • Expert knowledge of Python, statistical modelling (frequentist and Bayesian) and data visualization
  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell, R and SQL
  • AI expert knowledge
  • Project management
  • Comfortable with non-recurrent, high-complexity engineering analyses that drive product decisions
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 (EI): Best-case has worked in an actual company having Industry 4.0 stuff running
  • Made predictive maintenance models, deployed and managed them
  • Expert knowledge of Docker
  • Skill in project management i.e. being able to break down complex visions into actual work packages
  • Structured problem solving mindset
