Lead, IT Delivery Manager (Patient Safety space)

The Position

As an IT professional at Roche, you will manage project deliverables, build solution teams, and ensure smooth transitions to support. You will translate operational needs into Service Agreements and Catalogues, partner with the Vendor Management Office to deliver projects via strategic suppliers, and drive service performance using global KPIs. Additionally, you will manage business partner relationships, oversee financial management processes, handle escalations, and support innovation in processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage project lifecycles, including planning, delivery, and transition to support.
• Develop and maintain Service Agreements and Service Catalogues.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage scope, work estimation, cost models, and supplier selection.
• Monitor service performance through KPIs, scorecards, and status meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with business partners to address requirements and escalations.
• Manage financial portfolios, ensuring cost transparency and driving optimization efforts.
• Facilitate knowledge management and support process innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in leading project/service teams in multicultural, international, and distributed environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application projects and operational support, including Java, .NET, SQL, Oracle, BI, and ETL tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with external IT service suppliers.
• Strong background in IT service management (ITIL) and improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma).
• Knowledge of Project Management (PMI, Prince2) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent English communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Degree or Masters in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
