Complaint Handling Engineer - Sequencing
As a Complaint Handling Engineer, you will manage quality and product performance queries for Digital Solutions, including Hospital/Laboratory Information Systems, medical data networks, and middleware. You will work in a transversal software environment, analyzing source code to identify root causes of malfunctions and collaborating within an Agile team to improve software quality.
Responsibilities
- Handle individual cases (inquiries, complaints, safety issues) according to ISO quality standards and regulations.
- Perform investigation, documentation, and on-site troubleshooting of software issues.
- Analyze data using statistical measures to identify product performance trends.
- Escalate unresolved cases and communicate quality-related information to country organizations.
- Ensure all case documentation remains compliant with established standards.
Requirements
- Degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience reading and debugging source code to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and sequencing pipelines.
- Knowledge of workflow management tools (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake, CWL) and containerization technologies.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms and on-premise infrastructure management.
- Previous work experience in bioinformatics or support-related functions is preferred.
