Wofür möchtest du deinen Arbeitgeber im Umgang mit der Corona-Situation loben?
Hire and fire, sure, why not.
People hardly go for lunch here. Everybody seems overworked all the time. There are people you work well beyond the 10 hours cap. They slip back into the office after logging out since they are legally not supposed to work more than 10 hours. People get fired at will. So to work here, one must know that he/she may be fired any day for any reason. You are not allowed to network beyond your hierarchical level. You get shamed at for reaching out to senior colleagues. Hierarchy and seniority is the order of the day.
I have seen colleagues who need to stamp in their time at the door, set timer for 10 hours, leave the building after 10 hours and come back without stamping in their time and continuing working. I had reached out to the HR colleagues on multiple occasions with no avail on this. I had once been told to work from my vacation if I didn't want to miss the opportunity. People constantly work through their vacations. Colleagues with small kids work through the night. Quite appalling.
Plastic everywhere. Lunch boxes are plastic. Water glasses are plastic.
People hardly take lunch breaks. If you smoke, you get to socialize at the smoking joint. At some point, everyone feels insecure and perceives each team member as a direct threat. Very toxic environment.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Ditto.Hardly any older colleagues.
Well, you are a direct threat if you want to network with someone senior to your boss.
You are not allowed to network/socialize with senior colleagues. Generally, networking is not encouraged and seen more as a direct threat by your manager.
I have hardly seen colleagues above 50. Very little diversity in the team. Such people, that don't complain long hours and want to work from vacations, have been handpicked.
