From Avanade Orange to Accenture Purple: A Company Losing Its Identity

The gradual loss of Avanade’s identity and culture. During my final months, I no longer felt connected to the company I had once enjoyed working for. Conversations with close colleagues showed me that I wasn’t alone in feeling this way, and some of them eventually left as well.

Bring back what once made Avanade special. Listen more to employees, rebuild trust, and preserve the company’s unique identity instead of becoming increasingly indistinguishable from Accenture. People should feel that they belong to Avanade, not just another part of a larger corporation.

The atmosphere has changed significantly over the years. What once felt like a company with its own identity and culture gradually became a place where I no longer felt I belonged.

Unfortunately, the company has changed a lot over the past few years, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that, sooner or later, Avanade’s orange would become 100% Accenture purple.
