Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The benefits and the behavior of the people is really good.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The employees who have been there for many years have no intention of improving or learning something new. They simply want to have a paycheck until they retire.


I have included a lot of stuff above, but will write this again. Try and make this company an equal setting for everyone, else do not hire people who do not speak German. But right now, people who do not speak German do not feel like they ae a part of this company at all.


The working conditions are great because you do not need to work. Also no one will say anything if you do not work because the people who are suppossed to do so are also not working.


Every communication is in German. If you are a non German speaker, you will be told that this is an international company and that there are people from approximately 38 different countries who are working here. They will repeat this statistic daily. However, by not being able to speak German, you will not get an onboarding, there will be no explanation of how this company does its annual review and you will not be able to join any of the company all hand meetings.


I have gotten quite close with quite a few people in the short amount of time I have been here.


It is only life balance, you work if you feel like it.


I rarely meet my managers. They have no time in explaining, and actually they also have no information when I ask them a question. Apart from a very small number of people, the seniors in this company are people who cannot get a job anywhere else.

Interessante Aufgaben

It is interesting if you have a task.


The company is ~51% women, also has ~35% on senior levels. In the C level however, there is just one woman. There are also a lot of women, including in my team, who have come back from a career break after having children and are an integral part of the teams.
However the main topic includes diversity which is not only diversity of gender but also racial diversity. Racial diversity is almost non existing in this 'international' company.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I do not know about the other departments, but the older colleagues have no idea about modern software development. They still want to take a software on a pendrive and install it on your machine if they can. Cloud? What is that?


Working conditions are really good. This is the only positive from my side. Unfortunately I could come up with only one. People are really well behaved and even the employees in the C level come and speak with everyone in the company and are always approachable. I feel women are treated with respect (which, unfortunately, is still an issue at a lot of places in today's world) and they have a say in the product which is being built by the team. There are even teams which are comprised primarily of only women.


Benefits are quite good for me. We do not talk about benefits among peers, it is something which German's sneer upon, so this answer is a personal note.


I do not feel like this company has the leadership, or the people in the correct positions to see through the technologocal changes which this century demands. The people responsible for the software products are too old and cannot be fired. They know this and do nothing, only take the salary and wait for their retirement. There is a huge need in a system overhaul, unfortunately this will require getting rid of people who are not at all in sync with the modern technological requirements which this company will never be able to do.


Depends. If you want to be safe and secure in your career, this is a great place. Once you are past the probation period, you can simply roam around and do nothing. So this is a great company for career building.
If you want to actually build a product which you are part of, want to drive innovation and want to see this product succeed, this is probably not the place for you. The people in most of the technical teams have no clue of modern software development principles and are still hooked onto old tools and technologies, this company will frustrate you immensly if you want to stay technical.
