Vorgesetzte wirken eher wie Kollegen. Alle Entscheidungen und Abläufe sind transparent und man wird auch als Werkstudent in Entscheidungen miteinbezogen und wertgeschätzt.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Neuster Stand der Technik, jeder hat einen modernen Dienstlaptop, obwohl die Arbeitsplätze offen sind ist es nicht zu laut, es gibt Obst und Getränke. Das Office ist super schön, mittlerweile aber etwas zu klein für uns alle und hat hier und da ein paar Schwachpunkte, dafür ziehen wir aber bald in ein größeres Office um.

Kommunikation

Es finden regelmäßige Meetings auch abteilungsübergreifend statt, sodass man immer über Neuigkeiten, Änderungen und Fortschritte informiert bleibt.

Great atmosphere - everyone in the team is really motivated to go the extra mile to reach our vision of revolutionizing the energy industry. epilot also has a very open culture towards new employees. Fun and work are combined here.

Work-Life-Balance

Usually, everyone has a lot of to dos, but no-one is expected to stay late here. The management also sets an example for a good work-life balance. It's mostly a matter of prioritizing your tasks and getting the most important ones done.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Mostly young team from 25-40 with a few older colleagues. Age doesn't matter here, everyone is treated equally.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Very flat hierarchies. The use of OKRs, which are set bottom-up, makes sure that everyone is aware if their own, measurable goals and knows how to prioritize their tasks. There are also regular feedback chats. One challenge is that everyone has a pretty busy schedule, so sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find time with your supervisors.

The company provides MacBooks and iPhones, everything else is also fine.

Kommunikation

Very open and transparent communication. There are no "secrets" in the company, the management puts a lot of effort into involving the team in important company decisions. One challenge which is pretty natural for a high growth company is to keep every part of the business informed about what's going on in the other departments on a regular basis.

You get a lot of responsibility from the start and are always welcome to bring in your own ideas. The tasks are pretty diverse, you often face new challenges and it will never get boring at epilot.
