Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

A pleasant environment for entering the world of work and gaining initial professional experience.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

See above. When I look at the negative points (even in the average good reviews) in all the reviews here, a pretty clear picture emerges that should be taken seriously. Finding and training a new employee cannot be cheaper than retaining an experienced employee.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

The assessment sounds and appears very negative, which I am sorry about, but it is honest and there are simply some points that are not right, even if people don't like to hear it. As a relatively new employee, it is frustrating that you are virtually forced to look for a new job in order to advance professionally and financially. More value should be placed on retaining new, capable, and motivated employees - but the current attitude is “if you don't like it, you can leave,” instead of considering where the dissatisfaction comes from and whether there might be more to it than just a few complainers.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The working atmosphere is generally good, but a lot is expected of employees that is not actually practiced at management level. Praise is rare, feedback is very general, and loyalty is expected at all times. Criticism is unwelcome, and suggestions for improvement are usually dismissed. In general, stalling and delaying tactics are often used, which is frustrating in the long run.

Image

The company strives for visibility, e.g. on social media, but unfortunately the family aspect was lost some time ago and now only really applies to long-standing employees.

Work-Life-Balance

Generally good, at least in my department. Working from home has been reduced from 60% to 50%, hopefully it won't be reduced even further in the future. Vacation time always has to be carefully coordinated. Overtime regulations are very outdated - if overtime is expected and necessary, it should be compensated accordingly and not penalized.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Absolutely none, actually. In principle, one training course per year would be paid for. However, this is not really supported, nor is any time set aside for it. Due to the flat hierarchies, there are virtually no opportunities for promotion to higher positions, even though more responsibility and more tasks are taken on.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The biggest plus point and also the only thing that tempts you to stay longer than you perhaps should.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Employees are generally not involved in decisions. As a result, decisions are often difficult to understand. In general, the tendency is to put things off and delay. Apart from that, however, interactions with each other are appropriate.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Offices are fine, heating/ventilation does not work particularly well, equipment could be more modern

Kommunikation

Feedback is provided, but it is very general. More feedback is expected than is given. In general, employees are only superficially involved.

Gehalt/Benefits

Social benefits and additional payments (bonuses) are offered, but these cannot compensate for the low salary. There are annual salary adjustments, but these have not been able to offset inflation in recent years. There is virtually no chance of an additional salary increase, even after many years of service. If you don't negotiate your starting salary well enough, you will always fall short of your salary expectations. This is especially true in a city like Munich and its surroundings, where public transportation is becoming increasingly expensive and the cost of living is rising.

Interessante Aufgaben

Generally varied, but unfortunately more like assembly line work when the workload is high.
