Avoid such massive Lay-offs! Not the Holidu I know. Why not find better ways? Need to try very hard to build trust again. Not sure how.

Quite bad now after nearly 10% get fired. People are looking for other options and don't know, if management can still be trusted. How can I enjoy the summer party with many colleagues gone???

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We want you to know that we take your input seriously and are constantly trying to improve. Below, we would like to address some of the points you raised.

When it comes to transparency, we always try to communicate as openly and honestly as it is possible in each situation. We have a bi-weekly All Hands meeting where we regularly share updates on all of our numbers, internal processes etc. We also have an anonymous question tool, the answers to which are shared openly. However, we would be curious to understand in which area you would be wishing to have more transparency, so we could also integrate this.

Regarding the layoffs you are addressing, it is true that unfortunately we recently had to let go 7% of our team members. This was done to ensure the company can grow at efficient margins and in a sustainable and healthy way. The decision-making process has never been taken light-heartedly, and we completely understand that it has been impactful. Our founders spoke to every employee involved personally, and the rest of the company was informed on the same day. There have been several company-wide as well as department-specific follow-up meetings in order to clarify the reasons and answer any questions that came up.

In general, we have grown substantially every single year in the past and are confident that we will be continuing to do so.
