What I like about the employer
Der Zusammenhalt der Kollegen im Büro Gießen war bemerkenswert gut. Besonders die Projektleiter/Planer zeichneten sich durch eine angenehme und unterstützende Zusammenarbeit aus.
What I dislike about the employer
Es wurden oft Versprechungen gemacht, die aus meiner Sicht nicht eingehalten wurden.
Es gab wenig Transparenz über die Unternehmenssituation, was bei vielen Kollegen Unsicherheiten ausgelöst hat.
Häufig wurden neue Ideen vorgestellt, die nach meinem Empfinden nicht ausreichend durchdacht oder konsequent umgesetzt wurden.
Suggestions for improvement
Das Büro in Gießen hatte meines Erachtens eine solide Grundlage, die jedoch nicht ausreichend genutzt wurde.
Es wäre wünschenswert gewesen, verstärkt auf die Rückmeldungen der Mitarbeiter zu hören. Gerade in Bezug auf das technische Büro in Indien gab es viele Hinweise, dass dort Verbesserungsbedarf bestand.

Die Atmosphäre unter den Kollegen war immer sehr positiv. Der Umgang miteinander war von Respekt und Unterstützung geprägt.
Work-Life Balance
Die Diskrepanz zwischen den Versprechungen und der tatsächlichen Umsetzung war deutlich spürbar. Trotz der Zusage einer 80% Home-Office-Stelle wurde dies nie vollständig realisiert, obwohl die Aufgaben meiner Meinung nach ideal dafür geeignet gewesen wären.

Der Zusammenhalt im Büro Gießen war aus meiner Sicht immer hervorragend.

In meinen Augen gab es oft Widersprüche zwischen den Aussagen und den tatsächlichen Handlungen der Vorgesetzten. Dies führte aus meiner Sicht zu einem Vertrauensverlust.
Working conditions
Im Laufe der Zeit wurden immer mehr Tische in das Großraumbüro gestellt, sodass der Platz für jeden Einzelnen stark eingeschränkt war. Man musste darauf achten, nicht gleichzeitig mit den Kollegen vom Tisch aufzustehen, da die Stühle sonst aneinander geknallt wären. Von einem komfortablen oder entspannten Arbeitsumfeld war keine Rede mehr. Die Bedingungen trugen eher zu Unruhe als zu produktiver Zusammenarbeit bei.
Communication
Es wäre hilfreich gewesen, offener über die finanzielle Lage des Unternehmens zu sprechen. Dass ein Großteil des Büros untervermietet wurde, ohne dies klar zu kommunizieren, hat bei vielen Kollegen zu Verunsicherungen geführt. Zudem kam es plötzlich dazu, dass fremde Personen regelmäßig durch das Büro gingen, was oft für Ablenkung und Unruhe gesorgt hat.

Working atmosphere
Zuarbeit für die Projektleiter war zum Teil sehr unangenehm. Man wurde regelmäßig durch einzelne PL vorgeführt, andere haben einen ganz ignoriert
Work-Life Balance
Musste auch für wenige Officestunden nach Gießen fahren. Homeoffice war für mich nicht möglich

Ich hatte leider nicht den Eindruck gehabt, dass eine Förderung der Werkstudenten angestrebt wurde. So wurde der Job für mich einfach nur eine notwendige Einkommensquelle und keine Stelle für Praxis neben dem Studium.

Zusammenhalt der Werkstudenten untereinander war okay

Erst wurden meine Stunden gekürzt, dann wurde ich ganz entlassen. Für einen Studenten der auf das Geld angewiesen ist leider nicht schön.

-Viel versprechen, nichts halten
-Keine klare Aussagen zur Firmensituation tätigen
-Ständig irgend eine Idee einführen und diese nicht mal ansatzweise durchziehen
Suggestions for improvement
Man hatte eine gute Basis, hat aber das Büro Gießen den Bach heruntergehen lassen.
Wichtigster Verbesserungsvorschlag: Auf die Mitarbeiter hören! Wenn gesagt wird, dass das mit dem technischen Büro in Indien nicht so funktioniert wie es funktionieren sollte, dann ist Handlungsbedarf angesagt.
Leider musste erst ein Externer kommen, damit die Prozesse mal hinterfragt wurden.

Leider wurde die Firma zu Lachnummer bei den Kunden und Partnern. Immer sehr unzuverlässig, sowas lässt keinen positiven Ruf entstehen.

Deutliche Diskrepanz, wenn man sich für eine 100% Home Office Stelle beworben hat, dies aber nie umgesetzt wurde.
Wenn man es nicht halten kann, dann sollte man es auch nicht zusagen. Dabei ist dieser Job perfekt für das Home Office geschaffen.

Taten und Aussagen gingen in zwei gegensätzliche Richtungen. Das ist in keinster Weise authentisch.

Wenn das Büro zu 3/4 an andere Firmen untervermietet wird, dann stimmt wohl etwas mit den Finanzen nicht. Davon wurde aber nie ein Ton verloren. Mitarbeiter sollten sich wohl selber eine Meinung bilden.
Salary/Benefits
Gehalt war insgesamt gut. Bonuszahlungen waren am Ende undurchsichtig.
Letzte Gehaltszahlunge blieben aus, daher war der Gang vors Arbeitsgericht notwendig.

What I like about the employer
J&F is an amazing organization that actually helps in building an extraordinary professional with all the updated technologies and skill training. It really helps its employees in their work-life balancing and as well as in personal needs as well which is really very rare in the IT world. I sincerely appreciate the management and their support for me during the COVID time although I was a new resource I still received enormous support from the offshore and also the on-site team as well.
