Process Engineer (f/m/x)

Your Role
- Plan, analyse and optimise assembly processes to increase process reliability and efficiency
- Develop, train and maintain manufacturing-related documentation (e.g. work instructions, test instructions)
- Qualify, implement and document technical changes to existing systems based on technical specifications and customer requirements
- Support production processes in troubleshooting and derive, implement and follow up on effective corrective actions
- Contribute to interdisciplinary project teams and provide technical support during new product introductions
- Provide technical expertise to production planners on process engineering topics
Your Profile
- Successfully completed master’s degree or German Diplom degree in physics, mechatronics, optical engineering or a comparable field
- Experience with the assembly of complex automated machinery and equipment (mechanical, electronic and optical components, vacuum and automation systems) and with lean production principles
- Strong problem awareness combined with a solution- and results-oriented way of working, and familiarity with common process improvement tools and methods (e.g. Six Sigma, 8D)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a structured working style
- Fluent German and English language skills (both required for this role)
This position is initially limited to a fixed term of 2 years.
