Data Protection Manager / Legal Counsel (all genders)
Your Tasks
- Advise business functions and affiliates on data protection matters and regulatory requirements, increasingly including also AI compliance topics
- Contribute to the further development of Beiersdorf’s global data protection and AI compliance framework, processes and tools
- Support the identification, assessment and mitigation of privacy and AI-related risks
- Assist in the prevention, investigation, monitoring and reporting of privacy incidents and compliance violations
- Define and assess technical and organizational measures
- Coordinate and maintain data protection documentation with business functions and affiliates
- Support audits and monitoring activities related to data processing and compliance controls
- Develop and deliver training and awareness materials for employees and Management
Your Profile
- University degree in law, business, IT, data science, digital technologies, compliance, risk management, public administration or a comparable field
- Proven experience in data protection, compliance, risk management or a related area, experience in European GDPR is preferred
- Strong interest in AI governance and AI compliance, ideally with initial practical experience in this field
- Knowledge of data protection laws and frameworks is an advantage
- Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Affinity for technology, data processing and digital business models
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
This position is part-time (~ 31 h/week) and limited for approx. one year .
