Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as Buyer (m/f/d) for Research and Technology & Mechanical System Installation Projects in Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure coordination with R&T, Engineering and program teams to formulate the appropriate procurement strategies
• Support a coherent and strategic approach to the supply chain of R&T
• Manage procurement activities (Prepare and conduct negotiations until contract signature, follow-up execution and prepare amendments)
• Perform sourcing and screening activities to identify potential new partners
• Negotiate the necessary cooperation and research agreements with suppliers
• Securing the appropriate IP (Intellectual Property) rights for Airbus to enable multi-sourcing and competitiveness
• Develop a large network internally and externally
• Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management
• Uphold the company ethics and compliance standards in all dealings
• Collaborate with international suppliers to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to Airbus customers

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in Procurement, Project and Contract Management
• Experience in international negotiations is advantageous
• Good knowledge in Process and Risk Management
• Good skills in SAP and Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills spoken and written
• German and French skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel on business
