KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Technical Manager for KWS Beetrometer (m/f/d). You will be responsible for the technical support for all processes of the beet quality analysis business of the Business Unit Sugarbeet. Your duties comprise all value chain levels from customer interaction to close contact with partners to further develop the technology.

The contractual work location is in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany) and this exciting position is full-time and permanent.

Your tasks

  • Contribute to the Business Unit Sugarbeets’ KWS BEETROMETER® marketing and sales activities.
  • Planning and organization of services to customers, such as being the technical interface and first point of contact.
  • Installing NIRS systems at customer sites (hardware and software), and verification that installed systems run according to specifications.
  • Training customers on proper operating procedures and processes of NIRS systems.
  • Customer data validation, including data analysis of existing mobile units and stationery NIRS units.
  • Further technological developments in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Academic degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering, related to food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Several years of professional experience in project planning and execution, experience in the field of Process Analytical Technology is a plus.

  • Professional written and verbal English is mandatory, additional language skills are an asset, in particular German and/or French.

  • Willingness to travel globally up to 50% of working time; Driving-License B.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and hands on character, able to work in the office, outdoors and in a factory environment.

  • Customer orientation, flexibility, effective communication and intercultural competence.
