Job Scope

Development of new business opportunities and secure the Order Intake according to the technical and economic targets of the company in the Nordic countries.

Establishment/development of partnerships including industrial cooperation’s. In the task allocation customer can be either (B2C “Business-Customer”) or as well System Integrator, Distributor, Value-Added reseller (B2B “Business-to-Business).

The Job Holder hierarchically reports to the Director of Group Sales, Nordic Countries, and functionally to the Team Leader for the Nordic Countries

Job Functions

• Further define the strategy for the Nordic territories and implement it within the context of the region and in line with the strategic and operative targets of the Group, based on a competitive positioning in the market.
• Development of a stable, long-term customer-oriented network for the progression sales, including the identification of key industrial partners.
• Identify new potential opportunities in Nordic territories and consequently follow and mature them into planning relevant campaigns.
• Develop the specific market and competition knowledge to contribute to the country strategy of the Group
• Support the order intake planning and achievement in line with the regional and product related targets, and all sales relevant aspects considered for strategic planning.
• Ensure the acquisition processes efficiently followed, in line with the valid business process of the Group including all relevant stakeholders.
• Achieve the results of the HENSOLDT GROUP according to the targets in terms of economic, legal, and programme aspects.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and compliance laws, ensuring the parent company policies and legal guidelines.
• Assume responsibility to initiate respected compliance clearances process within the due diligence process of the Group.
• Build, communicate, and maintain trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, business partners, and government authorities (incl. customers, end users).
• Manage and support directly the local team in daily tasks, administration, and responsibilities.
• Any other tasks associated with the above functions.

Requirements

• Experience in management of multiple disciplinary teams in a complex business environment
• Several years of experience in International Sales/Business Development in the Nordics, preferably Denmark
• Experience in military and security programmes
• Profound understanding of the tendering process in Nordic territory in particular in the area of defence
• Excellent network in the Nordic territory defence reated industry as well as in the MoD including the procurement agency

Qualifications

• Completed degree in economics, engineering or comparable.
