Arbeitsatmosphäre

Many employees have been laid off in the last few months, with visionaries and strong leaders leaving Joyn voluntarily. Right from the start, attempts were made to mix former employees of a buried streaming service with new talent and international colleagues, which went pretty wrong. There are internal power struggles, resentment, bullying, unnecessary pressure, rumor mill and a high level of overtime. Due to the consistently implemented home office during Covid, colleagues who had suffered from bullying in the office appeared a little easier.

Due to the former vision of becoming active in other European markets and the international staff structure, English is spoken, which has caused frustration and loneliness for some colleagues, as a large part of the team has very limited tolerance. Full appointments diaries with endless, sometimes overlapping meetings and the obligation to make the calendar publicly available. Employees are encouraged to speak openly about topics and problems, which often led to attacks, criticism and demotion.
