An Echo Chamber on the Verge of Collapse
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
There is very little positive to mention. A few colleagues try to do their jobs despite the difficult circumstances, but they quickly hit walls due to inefficient and rigid structures. Onboardings don’t work, and people are often left completely on their own when facing new topics implemented by corporate. The only thing keeping the company from collapsing entirely is the financial backing from Accenture.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Several long-term employees in key positions actively block change and protect their own power through targeted b_llying. Management tolerates this behavior out of fear of losing these so-called “irreplaceable” individuals. At the same time, other colleagues are systematically worn down. Inofficially justified by the claim that they can easily be replaced through Accenture’s global talent pool. Anyone who tries to show initiative or speak up about problems quickly risks being labeled as the problem themselves.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
THE FACT THAT A COMPANY WITH NEARLY 50% NEGATIVE RATINGS AND A HISTORY OF ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY (AS EVIDENCED BY MANAGEMENT'S & HR’S SILENCE HERE ON KUNUNU) CAN WIN THE 'RED DOT DESIGN AWARD AS BEST AGENCY' ONLY TELLS ME ONE THING: THE AWARD ITSELF IS UTTERLY COMPROMISED AND WORTHLESS. IT'S NOT A VALIDATION OF EXCELLENCE, BUT A PAID-FOR CERTIFICATE OF DELUSION USED TO CYNICALLY PAPER OVER THE COMPANY'S PROFOUND STRUCTURAL FAILURES. THIS IS NOT LEADERSHIP; IT'S VANITY MARKETING MASQUERADING AS SUCCESS.
Establish clear leadership accountability and act decisively against b_llying and dysfunctional team structures.
Build a real feedback and communication culture
replace the “disposable” colleagues mindset with development and retention.
Modernize technical infrastructure
ensure that diversity, inclusion, and sustainability are practiced rather than used as PR slogans.
Promote transparency in pay and career development.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
For me, the work atmosphere is terrible. For some others, it may be fine but it largely depends on your position and how easily replaceable you are, or how specialized your expertise happens to be.
Image
Externally, the company tries to revive past successes, but internally it’s clear that its best days are long gone. Since the Accenture takeover, the organization has become bloated, rigid, and poorly led. The once-present spirit of innovation has disappeared, with certain individuals cementing themselves in key positions, leaving behind a sluggish structure that only survives thanks to corporate funding.
Work-Life-Balance
50h/ week plus open end is standard.
Gehalt/Benefits
Huge pay gaps between employees in comparable roles, sometimes over a significant five-figure amount annually.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Nonexistent. Multiple buildings full of running equipment and devices, with energy wasted on a massive scale. Sustainability only matters in marketing materials, not in practice.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I made a few genuine friends, but overall the culture is dominated by backstabbing and blame-shifting. If you don’t align with the internal gatekeepers and unspoken power structures, you quickly find yourself on the losing side.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Leadership is managed rather than exercised. Problems are ignored until employees either leave on their own or are quietly pushed out.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Chaotic IT systems, and inefficient processes. Even the simplest tasks are slowed down by constant technical issues.
Kommunikation
Non-stop communication to the point where you lose all overview.
endless workshops and questionnaires. Used to talk a lot about DEI etc. but in substance, it amounts to nothing. At least that part has now been dropped.
Gleichberechtigung
An empty buzzword. There’s plenty of talk about diversity, but in reality, certain groups and individuals are clearly favored. Performance and integrity matter far less than loyalty to the internal system.
Interessante Aufgaben
Instead of creative or strategic work, the daily routine revolves around damage control, crisis management, and internal politics.
