Amazing place to work, great colleagues and environement

It's the right place to grow and learn when we want to have an impact! I feel trusted and valued, which is all I could ever asked for. I come to work knowing my opinion counts and will be listened to. This place is not for everyone though, it's still a startup that makes changes very fast and some people would prefer a much more stable place of work.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Strategic changes and important decisions are communicated but not always explained well enough... It creates the feeling that there are things that are not completely clear and creates confusion.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Some more transparency could be achieved within the leadership team. Also we would benefit from better escalation processes, when something important needs attention, we need to be more reactive and accountable so that it doesn't get lost in translation. Better collaboration between the Germany and US offices
Arbeitsatmosphäre
This is one of the main reason why I love working here, people are committed to doing great work, and I felt trusted from day one. Hierarchy is flat and my opinion is considered, which adds to the impact I feel I can have! I have amazing colleagues and can call some of them my friends. My level of satisfaction comes primarily from the quality of my manager, and trust them to include us in major decision that will impact our team. There is not much that comes to mind in terms of what we could improve in my team, obviously not everything is ever perfect but I trust that we can navigate issues in a healthy way, and that's all I need!
Work-Life-Balance
My manager is mindful of overtime and is telling me off when I stay later than I should! There are crunch periods where I end up doing some overtime but it evens out eventually. Holiday requests are granted without question and time off is prioritised.

The level of team spirit hit me from day one, we are an ambitious startup and all in the same boat. Colleagues are genuine and transparent, I really appreciate the level of "down to earthness" and honesty we cultivate. I enjoy coming to the office and working with people here!

I can only evaluate my manager, and can feel comfortable bringing up sensitive topics, and know it will be discussed openly.
Arbeitsbedingungen
We have an incredible office space with free snacks, drinks, and games we can play, I love coming here. The only drawback is that a big chunk of the company is fully remote, so the office can feel a little empty on mondays and fridays.
Kommunikation
Communication is good in most aspects, but could be greatly improved in many ways... Communication between teams can lack proper structure and it can create some frustration. Leadership is great in terms of strategy and competence, but could do with slightly better soft skills.
