Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The employees, events and the team. Great people, and one of the highlights when in the office, is to hang out with collegues.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The consistent change of direction cause anxiety and uncertainty among the employees.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Long-term and well-performing employees need to be valued more, not only in word, but also with compensation. People need to be heard more in general to build trust, and fix the root causes of problems.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

There has been a top down feeling recently, where drastic decisions are made among managers, impacting the whole company, which has had negative effects on many teams. This has resulted in lack of motivation and worsened atmosphere within the company.

Kommunikation

There are monthly meetings to brief the employees what is going on within the company, however the feeling is that a lot of the day to day communication is missing. Drastic changes are being made, and information is being shared afterwards, and it results in uncertainty.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

This is one of the main strenghts of the company, the collegial community is great, and it is easy to feel at home within the team and within the company.

Work-Life-Balance

Home-office and flexible working hours is possible. It is normally easy to get vacation, and one is not contacted by collegues or managers during the time off. However many also work a lot of extra hours without any compensation for it, and there is sometimes a feeling that extra hours are necessary to complete the required work.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

There has been consistent change of managers, where each manager has had their own ideas and direction. This has resulted in a lack of understanding what each team needs, what the bottlenecks are, and where the problem lies. Therefore, unrealistic goals have been set and promises have been made that could not be fulfilled.

Interessante Aufgaben

This largely comes down to the department, but many tasks are repetitive, projects have been shut down, and own initiatives are not as appreciated anymore.

Gleichberechtigung

There is generally equality within the company, although there are not many women in management positions.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

The company overall has younger employees, but older employees are treated fairly and are respected. However, long-term employees have not always been appreciated, with many long-term employees leaving recently due to the direction of the company or due to better offers and opportunities elsewhere.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The office is relatively modern with good facilities, A/C, well-lit areas and a recreational area/lunchroom. Drinks and snacks are also provided. However, the computers and some of the technology leave more to be desired.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The company is taking some actions with the environment in mind, such as a focus on vegan food during events, reducing waste, promoting train transport and so on.

Gehalt/Benefits

Alright salary, and some benefits, such as discounts and some money towards Deutschland Ticket. However kudos programs has been introduced, to improve the atmosphere, and reward those with the most kudos. However it has felt more like a popularity contest, and not based on real value provided, and in some context it has also felt a bit demoralising since e.g. people working in the office rather than home-office or in bigger teams have benefited more.

Used to be a promising start-up with great image, however due to the consistant change in management and direction, as well as many influential employees leaving, the trust and belief in the company has fallen dramatically.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Online courses and trainings are offered. However promises of career paths were made and not followed up due to change in management. Now it is uncertain who has a future at the company.
