Die Arbeitsatmosphäre ist wirklich entspannt und toll. Das Office liegt super zentral und die Einrichtung ist super geschmackvoll.
Die Kollegen sind durchweg Granaten. Sowohl beim Lunch als auch zwischendurch wird viel gelacht.

Pulse ist m.E. der Leader, was Influencer Marketing in Deutschland angeht. Die Agentur hat einen super Ruf auch über die Landesgrenzen hinaus.

Klar, wird hier -wie in einer Agentur halt- viel gearbeitet. Auch mal länger in Pitchphasen.
Dafür ist alles weniger Corporate.
Ich war für eher bei einem Konzern und mag das lockere Agenturleben viel lieber. Neben anstrengenden Phasen kommen auch wieder entspanntere Wochen.
Zudem gibt es gemeinsame Sport-Sessions jede Woche als Ausgleich.

Es wurde gerade sehr transparent eine Matrix für die Karrierepfade vorgestellt. Somit weiss jeder, wo sie/er steht und was es benötigt, um weiterzukommen.

Gehalt ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Agenturen sehr gut.

Pulse versucht vieles digital zu machen, aber für einige Themen wird leider auch noch gedruckt. Hier kann noch etwas in Sachen Umwelt gemacht werden.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Boah, was ein Asset. Ich habe noch nie so geile Kolleginnen (fast alles Frauen) gehabt. Morgens kommt man ins Büro und denkt, dass man sich mit seinen Freundinnen trifft. Trotzallem wird aber sachlich auch an den Themen gearbeitet und man kann sich die Meinung sagen, wenn etwas mal nicht so gut gelaufen ist.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Es gibt kaum ältere Kollegen. Alle haben ein gleiches Alterslevel.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Die Geschäftsleitung in Deutschland ist immer auf Augenhöhe, respektvoll und super fair. Er fördert und fordert, so wie es Spass macht. Ich lerne gefühlt immer etwas dazu. Darüberhinaus gibt es regelmäßige Einzelupdates, um berufliche Entwicklungsthemen sowie operative Sachverhalte zu besprechen.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Sehr gut. Alle arbeiten auf MAC-Basis. Wenn man möchte, bekommt man ein Arbeitshandy zur Verfügung gestellt. Dazu gibt es jede Woche frisches Obst.
Kommunikation
Man wird von der Geschäftsleitung sehr transparent informiert. Es gibt klare Strukturen und ein sehr hilfreiches On-Boarding.
Gleichberechtigung
Gleichberechtigung ist eines der Kern-Werte, die gerade in allen Büros vorgestellt wurden und die von den Kolleginnen und Kollegen weltweit erarbeitet wurden. Ich war zwar nicht direkt involviert, aber finde alle Werte wirklich gut.
Es könnten ein paar mehr Männer bei Pulse noch arbeiten ;-)
Interessante Aufgaben
Die Aufgaben liegen im jeweiligen Sachverhalt einer Kampagne. Das kann der Entwurf eines kreativen Konzeptes sowie die Exekution einer Kampagne sein. Es gibt einen Mix aus wiederkehrenden Tätigkeiten und neuen Aufgaben.

Colleagues are okay, can only accept the situation because most of them moved to Hamburg from abroad for the job and do not have a choice.

I like Pulse because they are growing at rapid speed, are understanding and give lots of opportunity for the future. Also they have great expertise in their business and cool clients. Oh and we allow dogs which is soooo much fun.

The work atmosphere at Pulse is great. Its a young team and every one is hands one and not afraid to help out with all different tasks. The offices are all in very key locations always buzzy and they support team activities which is fun.

Sometimes we have to work later evenings if a proposal is due or a project is meant to go live but I think this is normal and you know this when you start working for a young company and agency in this area.

Wenn ich teilweise die negativen Punkte lese, dann finde ich das schade, dass vieles einfach nicht gewürdigt wird. Trotzdem ist es natürlich verständlich, dass Dinge die einen persönlich ärgern eher zum Ausdruck gebracht werden, als Dinge, die man tatsächlich cool findet. Für mich in Vergleich zu meinen früheren Arbeitgebern mit Abstand der ALLERBESTE. Bei Pulse kommt man wirklich gerne zur Arbeit. Angefangen davon, dass man seinen Hund mitbringen darf, Lachen ausdrücklich erwünscht ist und das Unternehmen immer offen ist für Vorschläge von den Mitarbeitern.

Ich verstehe immer nicht das Gemecker in Rezensionen. In welchem Unternehmen gibt es absolut nie und jemals Überstunden? Für eine Agentur ist bei Pulse alles so absolut human. Keiner überwacht akribisch die Arbeitszeit oder wann man an seinem Platz ist. Smalltalk oder persönliche/private Gespräche werden auch vom Management angefangen und nicht unterdrückt.

Wer etwas erreichen möchte und dafür arbeitet, kann hier wirklich alles werden.

The working atmosphere at PULSE is very positive. Team work is key in the work space at PULSE, as learning from other colleagues and their campaigns bring forward the effectiveness and performance of individual campaigns as well as your own development within the company. Hard work is pays off as your responsibility increases by the work enthusiasm you show. Weekly meetings for both PULSE Advertising and Management brings together the teams sharing their success and future projects.
Work-Life-Balance
Due to the nature of the Industry (Agency work and influencer/social media marketing) work life balance can be tricky, as the work is a constant process of engaging with both social media as well as the influencers. The nature of campaigns and effectiveness of campaigns is guided by the influencers performance hence their channels have different time plannings for posting times, which in turn can mean that Work-Life-Balance can come secondary to the job and long working hours are not seldom.

This working opportunity was very rewarding, the open mindedness and high integration of my particular case allowed me to not only show my knowledge within the field but also adapt my knowledge, learn and gain a greater understanding in influencer marketing as a whole as well as generate new experiences and interests in different fields of working such as video production, content creation and event planning and organisation. Henceforth the high work load and integration was very well placed and allowed me to gain a better understanding and improve my own project management skills.

PULSE Advertising although being set up in each country work within their country teams (although support can be expected from other country teams). Personal experience in the German team at PULSE Advertising has shown a clear structural set up of mini teams, which allows for efficient work flows within the team. Colleagues are helpful and engaging in all work and topic fields, working together and learning from each other while allowing the freedom and openness for criticism to improve the work and personal improvements.

This is very similar to the general working environment of the agency. Due to the nature of the agency and field many of the employees are the same age, henceforth the communication between colleagues is very open, professional as well as effective in terms of work organisation, planning and execution of projects.

PULSE has very flat hierarchies, it is a great working environment and team events are hosted regularly in order to bring the teams together even more. This includes all levels of working employees, henceforth all team members are able to communicate openly and effectively without any barriers creating a positive working environment. Respect and professionalism nevertheless is key to acceptance and necessary to bring the work forward

PULSE Advertising is centrally located within Hamburg. Many restaurants, shops and public transport surround the office. The office itself has large windows with an open space, both PULSE Management and Advertising are located in the same offices with different country teams located at the Hamburg office.
Kommunikation
Communication within the company works very efficiently and positively. Jour fix dates are set up for individual and personal improvements every month. In addition to this weekly team meetings are set up in order to keep updated about current projects that each team member is working on, allowing for an effective workflow and team work in case support for large projects are needed.

This internship will be more integrative than any internship experience you could have. You are not seen as an intern but rather as a full time working employee, your value is shown by your work ethic and enthusiasm, your knowledge is respected and acknowledged as any other team member. You are trusted with high responsibilities, communicating with clients as well as handling influencers an own campaigns, events and projects.
Interessante Aufgaben
Even as an intern as Junior Campaign Manager responsibilities are given to you from day one. The integration and learning curve is very exponential. The projects vary in degree of themes as well as content and production, from digital campaigns to video production to event planning and organisation.

Flache Hierarchien und ein sehr vertrauensvolles Arbeitsverhältnis. Der Arbeitseinsatz wird definitiv gesehen und geschätzt. Das Team ist motiviert und zieht in jeder Hinsicht an einem Strang. Wöchentliche Teamevents sorgen für ein tolles Arbeitsklima.

Das in Agenturen ab und an mal Überstunden üblich sind, ist jedem der bereits in einer Agentur gearbeitet hat bekannt. Bei Pulse hält sich dies allerdings sehr im rahmen. Die Arbeitszeiten sind mehr als fair und es wird stets darauf geachtet, dass Überstunden nicht zum Arbeitsalltag gehören. Wenn es aufgrund des Workloads doch mal zu Überstunden kommt, ist die Stimmung trotzdem gut. Auf Agenturkosten darf in solchen Fällen Essen bestellt werden und jeder der nich Zeit hat bleibt länger und packt mit an.

Aufgrund des Start-Up Charakters sind die Aufstiegschancen in der Agentur sehr gut. Man bekommt schnell Verantwortung zugeteilt und kann sich dadurch beweisen. Für die ausländischen Kollegen wird wöchentlich Deutschunterricht angeboten.

Monatlich finden Gespräche mit den Vorgesetzten statt, bei denen der letzte Monat besprochen und Reflektiert wird. Das Verhältnis zu den Vorgesetzten ist sehr gut und es treten selten Konfliktsituationen auf.

Das Office ist wirklich wunderschön. Jeder ist mit einem eigenen iMac sowie Arbeitstelefonen ausgestattet. Zudem stellt die Agentur stets ein Sortiment an frischen Obst, Snacks und anderen Lebensmitteln.

Es finden wöchentlich Meetings statt, bei denen jedes Team ein kurzes Update gibt. Zudem werden Erfolge sowie Misserfolge transparent kommuniziert.

Die Arbeitsbelastung ist immer abhängig von der aktuellen Anzahl der Kampagnen. Allerdings wird bei einer zu starken Auslastung schnell reagiert und versucht das Workload auf mehrere Personen zu verteilen. Es wird zudem sehr auf die einzelnen Interessen der Mitarbeiter eingegangen, sodass jeder möglichst in den Branchen arbeitet, die ihn interessieren.

Very open to feedback, very collaborative, continuously striving to improve not only the work itself, but also the work-atmosphere. And extremely trusting and encouraging. I feel that it is not so much about your previous experiences, but about the effort you put it and the quality of work you deliver how far you come and which responsibility you are given and that I find extraordinary and motivating.

Its a young company, hence there are always aspects, which can be improved, but I love the atmosphere and the collaborative work-environment, hence any obstacle is always tackled head-on.

We all work very hard, but the atmosphere makes it all worth it. I've worked in several companies before, but this is the first time I've come to get to know true team work and a collaborative fun work space. We work together, we work out together and we celebrate successes together.

We work a lot, but I feel that due to the opportunity of language courses as well as work-out classes the balance between work and fun is nice.

Its a young company, hence it is a little up to the individual to come up with ways of self-development. So far however, nearly all suggestions I've made and I've heard others make have been taken into consideration and have been implemented best possible.

I think truly the best part about Pulse is the diversity of people from all over the world. Not only is it really interesting to work with people that have such various backgrounds, but it really helped within the projects I was working on. Also, everyone is new to Hamburg, which makes it easier to connect also outside of work.

From the very beginning I had a lot of responsibility and involved in all aspects of the projects I was dealing with. At first it was a little overwhelming, but looking back at it now it allowed me to learn so much and I truly value the trust, which I was given.
