Major gaps hold potential for being a great employer

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- Low loyalty to employees - a hire and fire mentality in management very present, a long employee relationship is not an applied value (for some it is more/less relevant)
- Low transparency of organisational initiatives and their current state
- Very low transparency in project discovery phase, there is no internal job/project board - sales managers and what-so-ever managers are in control, consultants sit and wait for a call
- Conflict of interests when sales and team management in control of one person
- Low companionship - a manager can fire you from project without objective reasons, colleagues arent really open to new colleagues
- CEO talks about bordercross projects, but practically no real examples - there are no business relations between the companies of Randstad Group
- Poor staffed IT Support - the management does not react
- There is not enough space for topics/initiatives on technologies and the business orientation towards certain technologies. Instead, boring podcasts and successes in some dubious award ceremonies are communicated. I would be interested to know how much marketing budget regularly sinks into it.

Dear colleague,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to rate Randstad Digital as an employer. We would like to talk to you again personally about the points you have raised, as all the topics you have rated are important to us. The Talent Acquisition, the People & Culture team and your former Chapter Lead will continue to be available to you at any time.

We take your suggestions for improvement very seriously in order to improve our position on the points you have raised in the future and thus contribute to even greater employee satisfaction. We would therefore also like to comment on your critical points:

- "Low loyalty to employees" : Unfortunately, your perception is incorrect: we have a principle of a long-term home and not the usual "up or out" in IT services. For example, we offer "landing positions" in consulting, which means that you are not forced to move up within a certain period of time. We also offer partial retirement and sabbatical models. Last but not least, there is a free choice of working hours. We are very proud to have celebrated several anniversaries together with a large part of the workforce (5, 10 or more years of working together).

- "Very low transparency in project discovery phase": We have a close exchange between Sales & Delivery Management and the Chapter Leads as the consultants' superiors. Employees can contact the Chapter Lead at any time and also speak to Delivery Management.

- "Low companionship": A delivery manager can remove a colleague from a project if problems arise. However, this always takes place in close consultation with the supervisor, chapter lead and the employee. The employee receives feedback as to why the assignment was not a good fit. Fortunately, this happens in less than 1% of cases per year.

We regret that your experience was negative. This in no way reflects our company values and the way we practice leadership.

We would like to thank you for your review and wish you all the best for the future.

Best regards
Marita
