Andere People Leads begegnen mir immer auf Augenhöhe.
Don’t trust anything HR talk to you about the working culture or atmosphere at work. It could be something they copy from the internet or from their imaginaion to “hook” you as their professional. And if you already join this circus the advice or you is “keep quiet and you are fine”. Don’t share anythin with HR, especially the feedback for your manager because they are “spy” and will immediately report to the managers and you know the result :)
If the manager asks you to do something meaning that you have o do it. It happened many times the CTO who knows nothing about the system asking some developers do to and deliver unrealistic tasks. His technical skills are very poor but he is arrogant and the CEO likes it :)
You just need to be part of the circus. Especially, having good relationship with the managers and everything will be good. Otherwise, find another job.
Most of good colleagues already gone. It is obvious because no good pesin want to contribute to this company.
Well, you just need to look at other reviews to know how bad the communication is. This company has the culture of “order” where the managers ask you to do what they want. They don’t care or listen to your opinions or feedback. The CEO even talked to some employees in a rude way.
There is nothing interesting here
Nothing at all.
Everything.
Since the employer does not listen any suggestion, it is not worth to add anything.
You may wake up jobless tomorrow without any proper explanation. There were layoffs and only explanation was because we wanted so.
There is an obligation to take days off for last week of the year. Then you have to use your paid days off for some days depending on the public holidays of the very last week of the year.
Depending on your department. However between departments the behavior of the colleagues is sometimes quite inappropriate.
There is no more older colleagues. They did not get the value they deserved in my opinion.
They do not care about anyone. I think at managerial level no one knows how to manage a company. It is more like a playground of the management level. They are trying stuff on employees.
There is no proper communication. They talk about transparency and trust but it is just talk and in reality you can not see them.
There is no obvious goals or anything. Everyday is the same. It is impossible to change anything. It is completely closed culture for changes.
There is such a big office but there isn't a proper connection between colleagues. It's limited with a few persons on the team
It's depends on the team but generally okay
Your manager doesn't help you about career management and you always feel alone
There isn't proper salary increment process and everything is on random feelings and connections with manager
It's okay inside of the team but you can't get enough experience with managers
If you are an old employee, that doesn't mean anything. New employees always better condition than old ones
Your manager never supports you because he/she lacks experience. The CEO is also very young and doesn't know how to be a CEO. Same for all C-level persons
There is no proper transparent communication and always something behind of the scene
Some people working more, some of them less and there isn't fair management of these persons
If you have an interesting idea to apply, sorry you can't apply it because you have to convince everyone and have million times unnecessary meetings and can't forward
Good working atmosphere with mostly motivated and ambitious colleagues. Very flat hierarchies from intern to CEO. The company is very dynamic due to the many young colleagues.
Working hours are absolutely fine for an ambitious scale-up. The working model is completely hybrid, you can decide freely between home office or office. It is easily possible to start later on days or finish earlier if required due to private appointments. You are flexible in your vacation schedule.
Fair salaries compared to other companies at a similar stage of development
Bright and modern office in the heart of Munich. Work equipment meets the latest technical standards
Women and men have the same opportunities, mothers can adapt their working hours flexibly due to their children
Diverse tasks in an exciting market environment that is only at the beginning of its development. If you want to take on responsibility, you can also own topics that go beyond your area of responsibility
Many people complain about the office, but they are happy about the flexibility of working from home. This is contradictory.
We have a meaningful mission that is hard to find elsewhere
You have to define your goals to support business growth. As with everything else, there are ups and downs
Everyone is very supportive
The office offers everything you need, plus you can set up your home office
Many review comments are about the management. These people should read more or watch the all-hands recording again before expressing false opinions. While low performers were hidden for a while, they have now been properly evaluated, which seems to be causing absurd reactions from these people.
You are free to choose how to deliver your targets, which is why I enjoy making my plans
Gets worse and worse without the management team (you can barely call them "leadership" team) doing anything against it... it feels like they simply don't care because the regular employee surveys tell them otherwise. The office in Munich feels like a ghost town, nobody there.
Some work overtime hours, most colleagues no longer do... why should you? There is no value in doing it because no one will thank you.
Also getting worse and worse. So many great colleagues already left or are about to leave, which will put even more pressure on the other colleagues. Sometimes, colleagues from one department blame colleagues from other teams.
Most of them, from C-level to the Head of positions and the Teal Lead roles, lack the skills, experience, and empathy to lead. Almost none of them have any leadership or management experience. Which is okay, also given that it’s still a young company and people need to be developed. But there is no real development in terms of leadership/management.
Just check the comments from the previous reviews... there is no real proactive communication from management side. Neither layoffs nor big strategic decisions are communicated properly.
You need to belong to the inner circle to see any promotion or raise in salary.
Used to be more interesting but workload is so high.
- The company does not invest in people or at least care about their contribution. Therefore, when many good people leave the company they don't have any action to keep the rest but hiring new employees for replacement. Seems like they believe that the new employees could be better. Therefore, they don't really worry about people leaving.
- HR department is not functioned or they just work for the managers and do exactly what the managers tell them. Basically, they don't have any voice. If you have any conflict or issue with your manager and share them with HR, don't expect anything positive with the involvement of HR. However, if your manager complains about you with HR, it could be something else.
- Budget for training is cut. The Udemy account used for self-training was terminated even some people were in progress of some courses as part of their personal growth plan.
- Weak leadership in tech department. Most of the tech leads are unqualified.
The atmosphere is getting worse after seeing some colleagues have been fired and terminated the contract during probation period. No one knows what happened when 3 colleagues were fired at the same time. The CTO and HR communicated to the team in a way that couldn't be worst.
Hard to tell because it depends on which team but it is bad in tech team where the resource has been lacking for long time.
The good colleagues who dare to give the honest feedback almost left the company. There are still few good colleagues in some teams.
Disappointed with the behavior of some managers including C-level like the CTO
Either poor or bad communication from the managers.
Hardly find any interesting tasks in tech department
So verdient kununu Geld.
