Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

internal training and learning options
most people are easy to talk to
transparent reporting
Corona policy
high level of non-monetary well being (free food, drinks and yoga/meditation offers)

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

inconsistent leadership style
the vision is not clear or not really a vision at all
the purpose of projects is often not clear
people shouting out random ideas and opinions are given too much appreciation in contrast to people who just get their work done

Verbesserungsvorschläge

improve leadership style and make it as consistent as possible
initiate feedback for management level
make the management team a lot more diverse (not only related to gender, what about PoC?)
provide a long term vision
trust your people but do not tolerate permanent underperformance
stop listening to people who scream the loudest
outline possible career paths and pay grades
holiday and Christmas allowance
live your values

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Strongly depends on who is your manager. You are lucky or not. Some leaders seem to have trust issues, are micro managers, control freaks and question everything you do. Others randomly praise you for the easiest tasks, never heard of strategy and avoid conflicts at all costs. Others are the best leaders you might come across in your career: Supportive, caring and empowering. All in all the main issue is that there is no consistent leadership style and no real vision from top management. No noticeable effort from a company perspective to really live and not just preach its values.

Kommunikation

Various information on the company's performance is easily accessible and spread. Everyone who sends out reports is very easy to talk to and happy to elaborate if you are interested in details. All in all, there is a high level of transparent reporting. Problem is that most people don't take action based on all those numbers.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Like in all companies, that strongly differs from team to team. All in all people seem to watch out and care for each other.

Work-Life-Balance

Flexible working hours with the exception of Customer Service. Very family friendly. There are normal and expected peaks in workload.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Strongly depends on who is your manager. You might be lucky or not. Some leaders seem to have trust issues, are micro managers, control freaks and question everything you do. Others randomly praise you for the easiest tasks, never heard of strategy and avoid conflicts at all costs. Others are the best leaders you might come across in your career: Open, supportive, caring and empowering. The main issue is that there is no consistent leadership style.

Interessante Aufgaben

Strongly depends on your role and your manager.

Gleichberechtigung

No gender diversity in the top management, in IT and HR. Behaviour in meetings is often that men interrupt women or repeat what they just said and everybody keeps tolerating it.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Depends on where your team is located. Some offices are bright and provide more than enough space. In others you won't get the luxury of daylight and fresh air. Technical equipment is on a good level.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

In the office itself, the Facility and Office Management department has made many positive steps forward. The company overall could do better and a lot more.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Intransparent and not comprehensible. It seems like IT salaries are a lot higher than in the rest of the company, management level as an exception. It all depends on your 'negotiating' skills upon signing your contract (if you start as a 'junior', good luck with that). Salary negotiations don't happen. There is a defined budget that is spread among all team members. It's hard to improve significantly.

Image

Should be improved again. Many shitstorms in the recent past.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Many helpful internal learning offers. Criteria for possible career paths are not clear.
