Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Casual clothes.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Fake. Not honest. Trying to cheat you. You always have to take special care of what and to whom you are speaking with. Working in this kind of atmosphere can be quite tiring and can impact you as a person both professionally and personally.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

This company should be more honest and more human. You guys (company) are missing the point... I noticed lots of trainings and coaching for managers and HR, for example: how to convince, how to handle this or that situation, types of communication, etc. I think these trainings are completely useless if one disregards emotions and feelings of employees. The attitude of the company, C-level, is quite often: 'lets tell them this and this in order to hide that and that, employees will not notice the truth' - WRONG.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

As long as you don't ask, criticize or question some things everything goes well. If you try to comment, help to improve, give your opinion, well...

Kommunikation

It can be good, especially with team members, but very strange with teamleaders, mangers and HR. You have to be very careful all the time especially when company is negotiating your salary, working time, etc. Negotiating salary? Yap, you read it good.

Work-Life-Balance

OK, especially if you work part-time.

Gleichberechtigung

NO! No equal rights, that is for sure. Especially when it comes to payment. Talk with your colleagues openly and you will see all differences...

Arbeitsbedingungen

Working conditions are very well, but I personally think the company doesn't understand that having a kitchen with coffee and tea doesn't mean that the salary can be below average salary in town. This means that lots of things on the surface are looking well, but if you scratch just a bit you will see an emptiness.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Lots of talking no action.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Very low. Company underestimates your knowledge, skills and capabilities greatly.

Image

A lot of talking between employees about the company, managers and its attitude towards the employees as well as unpleasant communication of the HR are common. This means the image is very good outside of the company and I guess many believe if you work in the company it is your dream job. Those who are in don't believe the same.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There are some opportunities but are not so strong. Some things are organised but it is more to show how the company takes care of it. Quite fake.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with us. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience during your time with us. This is not the working atmosphere we pursue and stand for as a whole. We are constantly developing and an open feedback culture is very important and desired at Spread Group.
That’s why we would like to share our thoughts with you on a few points:

Career
Our organization is growing and with it the ways of working and the requirements within a role are sometimes changing. Over time, we therefore have created a separate position with responsibility for Learning & Development and thus also increased the range of internal development opportunities for all employees regardless of their position. In addition to our internal offerings, it is also possible to take advantage of job-related external training opportunities. Also we offer the opportunity to complete an internship in other departments and to develop further through this.
Career opportunities at Spread Group are also transparent.  Every open position is posted internally and externally and the interviews conducted are standardized and based on defined knowledge and skills required for the position. This approach allows us to directly compare candidates with each other and to select the most suitable candidates for the position. With this approach we have been able to develop the career of many Spreadsters internally over the last decade, from working students to Managers or to technical experts.
One of your points are not entirely understandable to us and are difficult to put into an overall context, such as “Some things are organized but it is more to show how the company takes care of it.”. We would therefore be very grateful for further concrete feedback.

Working atmosphere
The Spread Group working atmosphere is characterized by respect, transparency and diversity. We always try to be transparent also in communication, e.g., every employee is aware of the financial results (daily reports and every 6 weeks our colleagues receive an overall business update) or the strategic planning, broken down by our OKRs in plannable pieces. There are a lot of people at Spread Group, Employees, Manager and HR investing in our work culture and most of the time they do try hard to achieve that. Sadly you didn’t see that and feel different about Spread Groups's work culture and atmosphere. Flexible working hours and consideration for personal needs (family and free time) are just as important as open interaction with each other. To this end, we organize employee events, but also open discussion rounds, for example with our C-level, for all interested parties, regardless of which department or hierarchical level they belong to. We do this because regular exchange and cooperation are important values for us. Of course, where many people come together, there are also different ideas. But that doesn't keep us from communicating respectfully with each other at eye level. But it needs people who wanna contribute to this level of team work too.

Equality
Spread Group brings together employees of different nationalities, cultural backgrounds, and personal experiences. We, as a company highly value this diversity very much. So treating people equally is a fundamental value of ours. Equality is reflected by various aspects: Equality in management positions (gender ratio at HQ: 49,1% women, 50,7% men, 0,2% divers, Manager-Level: 54,6% women, 45,4% men, Director-Level: 50% women, 50% men, Chief-Level: 20% women, 80% men), equality in the area of part-time work or, for example, in the area of fair pay – especially to avoid the „gender pay gap”.

Thanks again for your feedback.
All the best,
Silvia
