The office is located in central Hamburg and provides good facilities and amenities.
Poor management, a lack of transparency, favoritism, unequal treatment, low salaries, and very limited career opportunities.
Management should communicate more transparently, involve employees in decisions, and take their feedback and concerns seriously without negative consequences. The company should establish a stable long-term strategy, reduce last-minute changes, offer fair and equal treatment, and provide competitive salaries, meaningful career development, and opportunities for promotion. Bullying, favoritism, and pressure to resign should be addressed immediately through clear accountability.
The work environment feels very toxic and demoralizing. Employee dissatisfaction and turnover are high, with many people actively looking to leave. Frequent last-minute decisions disrupt daily workflows, while major changes to the company’s strategy and organizational structure every three to six months leave employees focused on constantly adapting rather than doing their actual jobs.
The company tries to create the impression that it competes with the leading companies in the gaming industry, but the reality does not live up to that image.
Poor. There are frequent last-minute changes that are expected to be done in a very short time with unrealistic deadlines. This results in needing to work extra hours, to deliver on time.
Career progression is extremely limited, with promotions and salary increases being very difficult to obtain and no regular annual raises. Although a training and development budget exists, requests are generally approved only when the cost is minimal.
Salaries are generally lower than at comparable companies, and employees with immigrant backgrounds may feel undervalued and treated as a source of inexpensive labor. Pay raises and promotions are extremely difficult to obtain, while the benefits package is very limited.
There is no actual awareness of environmental or social responsibility. No initiatives or concrete measures in place.
Communication and mutual support among colleagues are generally good, as everyone faces the same challenges and tries to get through them together. However, the high turnover rate makes it difficult to maintain a strong sense of team cohesion over time.
Horrible. Mobbing, bullying and favouritism are easily observed. Management attempts to pressure employees into resigning. Communication is often dishonest and handled behind employees’ backs, with some individuals being made to feel that they were no longer welcome at the company.
Working conditions are poor due to constant last-minute changes, unrealistic deadlines, and frequent restructuring.
There is very little communication between management and the employees doing the day-to-day work, resulting in a significant lack of transparency. Employee feedback is rarely considered, and decisions are typically based solely on management’s perspective. Those who express disagreement or raise concerns face negative consequences.
German employees and employees with immigrant backgrounds are not always treated equally.
Not really. The company’s primary focus appears to be generating revenue by any means possible
The only positive thing is that I met some great colleagues—but they all left as soon as they could. Oh, and the office is nice and fancy...
Everything else. From the toxic culture and exploitation of foreign workers to the constant lies and lack of strategy, this company is a complete mess. Stay away if you value your career and sanity.
Start treating employees like human beings, not just numbers.
Hire actual gaming professionals who understand the industry.
Stop the constant strategy changes and create a real long-term plan.
Improve communication and transparency—employees deserve honesty.
Take employee well-being seriously and stop the toxic work culture.
Toxic and demoralizing. Mobbing is common, and employees are treated like tools, not people. There’s a constant sense of fear and instability, and motivation disappears quickly. No one trusts management because of the constant lies and broken promises.
Management tries to maintain a good image for investors, but internally, the reality is completely different. The company is not respected in the industry, and anyone who works here quickly sees through the illusion.
Non-existent. You’re expected to be available at all times, and burnout is inevitable. Management doesn’t care about health issues or personal boundaries. Workload is unrealistic, and taking time off is discouraged.
No opportunities for growth. There is no investment in employee development, no real learning opportunities, and no career progression. If you want to grow, you need to leave.
Below industry standards. Since they know foreign workers need the visa, they keep wages low and offer minimal benefits. Raises and promotions are just empty promises.
Zero. This company does not care about social responsibility, sustainability, or ethical business practices. The only priority is making investors happy.
The only saving grace. Some colleagues try to support each other in this chaotic environment, but since turnover is so high, it's hard to form lasting connections. Most people just focus on surviving until they can leave.
Horrible. Supervisors engage in mobbing and have no real leadership skills. They don’t mentor or support employees—they just see them as disposable workers. If you’re struggling, they’ll push you even harder instead of helping.
Stressful, unstable, and completely mismanaged. Constant last-minute changes, unrealistic expectations, and no concern for employee well-being. Basic workplace respect is missing, and management only cares about appearances.
Terrible. Management either ignores employees or feeds them misleading information. There is no transparency, and important decisions are made without any input from the people actually doing the work. Feedback is not welcome, and if you try to speak up, you’re either ignored or subtly punished.
Foreign workers are treated as cheap labor, and management knows they can exploit them because of visa dependency. There is no real effort to create an inclusive environment, and favoritism is common.
Not at all. The company claims to be a game company, but management doesn’t understand gaming. Instead of working on meaningful projects, employees spend most of their time in pointless meetings or dealing with last-minute strategy changes.
Very friendly environment
The flexible working days and the always open ear of the MD helps maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Team events and weekly gatherings to create a perfect social environment for old and new comers
Very nice office with view on the Alster , open space concept and enough room to take a break ( a lot of snacks, drinks and games available as well)
There is a direct line of communication through weekly stand-ups and monthly gatherings with the whole team so that everyone knows the current status on all departments.
