Unforgettable messy and unprofessional process without any respect of applicant
Bewerber/inHat sich 2020 als UX Designer beworben und eine Absage erhalten.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
- Be punctual and do the homework
- Be organized and follow the standard and expectation
- Inform applicant on time
- Don't give applicant design challenge directly after the HR chat (sounds like exploit)
- Give feedbacks in time
- Be professional and involve relevant people to evaluate
Bewerbungsfragen
- Normal HR questions
- HR asked about all basic information, immediately afterwards I got the design challenge without the chance to talk to designer or PM, and I did for 3 full days unpaid (around 35 hours) with passion and even asked my friends and a doctor to give user feedbacks. After I presented the result on site, the stakeholder is impressed and satisfied and promised to arrange another designer interview. To my surprise, there was NO DESIGNER involved in the presentation. The stakeholder promised me the next appointment with designer and other stakeholder.
- After 2 weeks without any response, the second HR jumped in and arranged anther HR interview. And he was late for 20 minutes (first time met in my life, ironically in Germany). He asked me again those similar HR questions as it is like the very first interview. I can't resist the temptation to say this is not as expected and respect for an applicant who has already finished the C-level interview. He apologized for the delay in a very pretentious way.
- After another week, I got rejection letter. The interviewer gave me feedback in a 20 minutes call. They stated reasons that they assume me as non-team player albeit the excellent work. He did excuse himself for the poor recruiting experiences.
