Once outstanding, now just solid
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Value the workforce more again. Tradebyte wasn't built on executives alone. Only by working together again and having transparent communication can this be turned around. Because honestly, Tradebyte used to be an outstanding place to work.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Communication within the company has been getting worse year after year. Currently, things are only communicated once they're being implemented or have already been implemented. Tradebyte is marked by constant change — for years now, restructuring has been happening across various departments, and ultimately employees are left to fend for themselves, since it's assumed they'll figure out the new processes on their own. Support from managers in these situations is usually minimal, as their own workload has also gotten out of hand. On the positive side, work-life balance is good — you can actually organize your working hours freely and flexibly, but we'll see how long that lasts once the statutory working time recording requirement goes live.
Gleichberechtigung
Not much to say here — from my perspective, this is handled well, since Tradebyte is a place for everyone.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Work equipment is good. Laptops mostly run fine, but whenever there are issues, the internal IT team is always right there to help.
Gehalt/Benefits
I think the external image with customers is still good, but the internal image has suffered. It used to be cool to say you worked for Tradebyte — today, not so much anymore. The salary is still okay, though it's lower than the industry average, and the salary bands along with the whole process for assessing whether a raise is warranted make things cumbersome and frustrating for employees. It usually takes several months or even years before you're even eligible for a raise, since you have to hit exorbitantly high KPIs — but by the time that happens, the responsible team lead or head of department is usually already gone, and the new manager tells you they first need to check with someone, so that round of salary negotiations is over before it even started. Career growth and moving up at Tradebyte is possible, but the question is whether you'd really want to.
