So here is the thing. I met someone from the management of the company at a job fair. I presented myself and my experiences and he seemed very interested. And I left my CV so that they can consider me. He said he will forward the CV to the head of the relevant department and they should contact me. At the end, it was the HR that contacted saying something like "please check our career website and you can apply for any position that you think you are suitable for". For that, I did not need to lose my time in front of that person, right? Anyway, I reminded the HR that we had a talk and I am interested in this particular position (the one over which I had a discussion with that person). And I receive a rather quick and direct rejection.
Tell it to my face at the job fair if I am not suitable. But if you are telling otherwise, then give me a chance to prove myself that I am suitable for it. If you have no judgemental skills over my CV and my presentation then maybe you are doing something wrong.
Anyway, in no circumstance I'd apply again or suggest this company.
