- Free and high-quality food
- Good image
- Slowly, the employee benefits are being stripped away.
- Belittlement and poor feedback culture.
- Stop demotivating and intimidating the employee
- Come out of the delusional expectation of hiring top-notch employees for peanuts
- Trust in the ability of employees and give them opportunities to learn and grow.
Frustrating, Stressful, traumatic, insulting, and demotivating.
Lack of collaborative work. Unsatisfying.
Hardly any feedback was given. No appreciation for good work and no suggestions for improvement were given. As an employee, it is unclear if I am heading in the right direction.
Needs Improvement.
Increasingly top-down style of communication
Innovativ und cool
Umgang mit Fehlern muss klarer und fairer werden seitens Geschäftsleitung, mehr Konstruktives
Kritische Themen differenzierter angehen
Tolle, kompetente Kolleginnen
People treat others well mainly, sometimes though, due to pressure, rough. Yet this is ok if done fair
Startup like… get used to it
If you want to change role, you‘re able to. Is not as in bigger companies.
People and teams hold together mainly
Always have the doors open and hgive good feedback
You get all you need to work
Ok, but to be improved from all of us. Being in many other companies I see the same.
Well, nobody else yet did what we‘re soing
Tech stack, ev sector, tasks, i have less pros to validate
unorganised priority, no mentoring, less collaborative /inclusive environment
Evaluation and feedback policy is ill hence growth career chances not always tech there are other areas of improvement on team, impact created with an team on a member, work life balance, Work culture
Have a qualified guidance and roadmap of scope of work, ethics, growth mindset, impacting colleagues
Improve your off boarding/onboarding an employee process.
Give trainings when organisation is part of global market race then teams/people mindset also needs to be international increase your exposure, mindset to welcome people onboard and stay within your team.
Bureaucratic, and hierarchical. Many are already looking at alternatives.
Where once there was a pioneer atmosphere, today there are often bureaucrats at work.
The new management does not understand the employees and often completely ignores their needs.
Great global network, vast opportunities for business, original vision for air mobility, commercial activities are well done.
Kind of on the way to a more anxious culture. It seems like the idea is to get rid of people by making them less comfortable in order to reduce financial pressure.
Back to innovation and the old intrinsically motivated culture / core values. When the economic environment changes, adapt with a truly needed product and trust your team to achieve the goal.
Distrustful in professional competence, low trust, elbow mentality
Still good it seems
Good amenities here and there (legacy from good old times?). Low payment level compared to extra hours and personal risks taken. No time tracking, effectively no .
There are two sides to personal development: Either it promotes you if behave compliant, or the areas of growth identified are used against you later. This is contrary to the concept of learning and development...
On the surface, that's great (like free charging of your EV, little initiatives). But the core product and its sustainability aren't as discussed these days.
It depends on the team and how exposed you are to leadership. If you're lucky, it can be great. If you are declared "out," no one seems to care about your whereabouts.
I am not sure, as I have not had any particular experience with this age group.
Mindset appears more like big corporate rather than a startup
Good office equipment and ok'ish IT. But room for improvement, esp. with home office equipment.
It used to be very transparent and value-oriented. Now everything seems to be more behind empty phrases in pseudo-startup hull.
Used to be more in focus. Of course, there are initiatives to promote diversity and equality
Lots of interesting like-minded people and contacts to learn from. The technology is (mostly) state of the art. But again, the potential seems to be disconnected from the results achieved with it.
Be a role model for a new tech unicorn and let people work from where they want to work (when applicable) - giving them a pay rise when overperforming - promote loyal employees rather than hire external - hire more skilles people to share the burden for more work every day.
Great team spirit at least for my department
Since there are so many tasks on the table and no limited amount of new joiners or even getting more people for important topics - you need to get things done on your own
No clear development path even with the new policy, thats is really unfortunate since everyone giving it everything but rather hire external than promoting internal loyal employees (seems Volocopter is now mainstream on not really giving something on existing employees, only way to get a pay rise is leaving Volocopter - so sad)
new 5 days in the office policy does not fit a tech company
general communication good & transparent but cross-departure communication missing/ lack of decision making make work hard
no change since joining, means no adjustments to more work or even inflation - thats so sad, since we have more expenses
Interesting product
New working policy, management seems to think mostly about themselves and their own comfort
Keep your promises (like it was promised a few months ago from Management, that even "after Corona", at least 2 days home office per week would still be allowed for everyone for the future but now that promise is apparently irrelevant), take employees' wishes and concerns seriously
Used to be great but since the new management took over and changed many things (e.g. home office policy) for the worse, many people are frustrated and less enthusiastic than they used to be.
All employees were allowed to work from home the last 2 years when their kind of work allowed it, many people were promised regular home office days (or even 100% in some cases) when they were hired and they counted on that. Now all of a sudden home office is not allowed anymore, if someone needs it they need to "apply" for it with no guarantee that they will get it or if so if they can rely on it for the future. It also will create jealousy and frustration between the employees if one colleague is allowed to work from home and the other is not. What kind of strategy is that? You need to motivate people in order to reach your goals and this is creating the opposite.
There is a course catalogue for various trainings and a training budget per employee per year
Still good, at least in my department
Management tells employees that they will not get pay rise to help with inflation because company needs to save money (which makes sense) but on the other hand a lot of money is spent for unnecessary things e.g. expensive travel to meetings abroad that could have been attended remotely (also not great under the aspect that this is bad for the environment and Volocopter wants to be an environmental-friendly company and sustainability is allegedly very important...well...) and also Management does not seem to care that people are demotivated and even leave the company because of the recent changes (e.g. working policy).
There are often IT disturbances and one can't work effectively because Outlook won't start or Internet connection gets cut by Security Software etc and that even happens at the office, not only when working at home which is extremely annoying. Modern offices, free lunch and coffee, water etc is free as well.
So verdient kununu Geld.
