As sorry as it is, there is really nothing good that motivates me at the moment. I have already mentioned the reasons and I'm also looking for a new job like a lot of my colleagues. Colleagues have already described it better than me in other reviews on Kununu!

You have to be more transparent. You have to speak a clear language and not take people for fools. Stop blaming others for mistakes and stand up for mismanagement and weaknesses. Don't dwell on the problems, look for solutions.

Working now for long time here and i can say, that in the past it was great. Nowadays, the employees hide themself to avoid getting caught in the crosshairs. Help each other is history while everyone is extremely busy and under stress.

The workload and the weekend work make it not very easy to have a balanced life. I thought it is only a limited time....

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING - BELIEVE IT IF YOU AGREED IT IN YOUR CONTRACT! They are extremely under pleasure and they pass the pressure to as well. I don't know the reason but i can guess it is driven by KPIs or other aspects which they have to fulfil.

Older employees are laid off. It doesn't matter what you've done for the company over the past few years, there's no recognition for the work you've done. Working part-time means --> end of career. In the last years we lost a lot of good colleagues and a lot of know how. Now this know how is missing and a lot of problems are pops up in key functions and processes.
Colleagues who came from Russia are getting well preference and are knowing nothing about business in Germany. Colleagues from London are also getting well preference and trying to implementing their style. Unfortunately, there is still a clear injustice in this days and age.
In particular, the colleagues from London are paid exorbitantly and also left in peace. It's probably because these people were hired by management, who are also from London. Nepotism sends its regards here.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
This employer is nothing for older colleagues and you can also not get old here. For the russian guys, you are just a ID and can be easily replaced - actually they are right.
Arbeitsbedingungen
We have a works council. However, I don't know what they do and if they do anything. Never heard of them. As long as everyone shuts their mouths, closes their eyes and doesn't hear anything, nothing will change regarding the working conditions.
By the way, this is also due to the fact that no more qualified employees are being hired (they don't want to work at this address at all, it seems) and that the good ones have already left and many are still looking around and looking for a new job.

No fundamentals for sustainability. Environmental, Social. & Governance Law (ESG) will be the next issue for this bank if they not be active here.

I thought the payment is good but after working a while I understood that I work for less money because I make so much overtime.
Salary is fix agreed and there is no space for increasing. Bonus is depending on your work which you have to fulfil for 100% and additionally depending on your managers whim. Good luck!

1. BaFin - VTB does not have a good reputation with the German banking supervisory authority (BaFin). The German banking supervisory authority has appointed a special representative at the bank to check if it is taking appropriate internal measures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. 2. Sanctions - Not healthy for the career if the Russian state-owned bank VTB gets affected by sanction due to the Ukraine <--> Russia conflict. This could be a game changer / neck breaker.
3. Try to travel to U.S. for holidays and have fun if they ask you at the passport control "for which company are you working?".
4. Finding a new job will be hard, because potential employers are asking me in my job interviews about the background and the bad news from the newspaper during the job interviews. My skills and know is not the main focus in the job interviews.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The circumstances mentioned make it very difficult to make an external career. Internally there are other problems right now!
