Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

A lot of flexibility, huge responsibility, nice benefits, IT equipment

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Work-life balance, low salary, career opportunities, amount of changes, poor change management

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Working-time guidelines. Focus on one topic instead of 40 at the same time.
Taking time into developing own staff instead of hiring externally.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Nice team spirit, a lot of offers for getting together.
Unfortunately low appreciation which cause a lot of leavers.

Kommunikation

Communication always on very short notice which are published through various channels. However, unfortunately a lot of contradictions.

Some do, others don't.

Work-Life-Balance

Work is not able to be done in 40 hrs. Everybody works over time. If you go on time, you will work at home in the evening/night/weekends because otherwise you aren't able to fulfill short deadlines.
People who work on part time because of family won't be considered for development and/or promotions.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Very unprofessional & young leads. They started with Zalando and became leads over the years. Not able to manage teams. Very much into politics. Also not interested into developing own team members, because of lack of time.

Interessante Aufgaben

A lot of innovations & changes, but also a lot of trials and errors which link to a huge unnecessary workload with (too) short deadlines.

Gleichberechtigung

Very low female representatives on senior management level. Female leads with children won't be considered for further career steps.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Very rare people over 45 years.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Very noisy open-plan offices, close to toilets. Sitting in a room with up to 50 colleagues.
IT equipment is very updated including mobile phone. However, too many programs to work with which are not connected to each other and causes a lot of extra work.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Into fair trade, but still a lot of work to be done, especially within private label section. But recently won CSR award.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

A lot of responsibility but salary is not reflecting either capability, skills nor experience. HR salaries are below Berlin benchmark.

Some do talk positively because of all the benefits and parties which are great for young professionals and everybody who started right after university and can't compare with other companies.
Seniors are not staying long. Huge attrition rate.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

A lot of opportunities for do trainings. However less time to attend any trainings. A lot of open positions on higher grade, but currently no successor-plan existing.
