This year is a nightmare. Endless fails, everyone is scared that their department is next to get offshored to Eastern Europe, Asia or India. And the Management board is sitting in so called Culture Talks laughing about their salary: “If you don’t like it here anymore, feel free to look for an other job”. So recently our P&O department got fired and of course they offshore the whole department to Romania, a county who isn’t even accepting same gender marriages - happy Pride month everyone! The whole change management in the company is a joke - starting with Erfurt and ending now with Bucharest. All everyone is confused and angry.

Let’s fire 2000 people in Erfurt, the whole warehouse is sooooo old and also the location is now in the nowhere of Thuringia! Right? We don’t care that we totally failed with the whole communication process - let’s pay 80 Million Euro now to close this chapter - we can save this money somewhere else - let’s fire all these expensive and ungrateful people in Berlin and let’s offshore all to Romania. Hey we are such a cool Tech Company from Berlin! Aren’t we?

How now? All everyone is scared to be next to get fired! Don’t complain about anything anymore - cheap workforce in Eastern Europe is waiting for your job! And we don’t care anymore about the political views anymore, who needs Pride month when we can save salaries. What a shame for a German company.

Otherwise Romania is waiting for all off you - we don’t care about being a German Company anymore, we don’t care about our colleagues in Berlin anymore who are working for Zalando 10 years and longer!

Fail, fail, fail! Office first in 2027 and offshoring many departments to Eastern Europe? I know - we dump Germans only complain and always want more salary. It’s a same to forget your roots, dear Management Board! Don’t talk about Sustainability und fair-trade when you fire your German workforce like this. Don’t tell us, we are not talented anymore and only Romania is the answer now. What a nonsense! We are angry!!!!
