Partner Sales

Overview Partner Sales transforms ecosystem complexity into a scalable growth engine for Siemens as ONE Tech Company - governing the global partner go-to-market strategy, standardizing partner programs and contracts, managing strategic partnerships with global distributors and system integrators, and ensuring full transparency on partner performance across the company. Within it, Global System Integrators drives prioritization of and governs relationships with global system integrators and establishes global business plans for the top strategic partnerships - enabling Siemens to engage these partners at scale as ONE Tech Company.

How you will make an impact with us

Global Relationship Management Own the global relationship with an assigned portfolio of Global System Integrators (GSIs) - acting as the single cross-Siemens point of contact at global and regional level for sell-with, sell-to, and buy-from motions. Develop and maintain multi-year joint business plans with assigned GSIs, covering co-sell strategy, investment cases, pipeline influence, and solution roadmap alignment. Engage directly with C-level stakeholders at assigned GSIs and within Siemens, driving alignment on shared objectives and joint business outcomes. Coordinate global and regional engagement models with Sales Units, ensuring consistent partner interaction and clear handover of execution responsibilities.

Practice Building & Partner Enablement Build and scale a Siemens practice within assigned GSIs - designing routes-to-market and go-to-market strategies that enable partners to champion Siemens’ portfolio at depth and at scale. Drive enablement of assigned GSIs through training, certifications, and accreditation programs, ensuring partners can position and deliver Siemens solutions effectively. Ensure assigned GSIs have access to the resources, content, and tools needed to co-create and deliver solutions aligned to Siemens’ vertical priorities.

Strategy, Pipeline & Market Influence Defining joint value propositions and solutions plays with assigned GSIs, aligned to Siemens’ vertical priorities and cross-business go-to-market strategy. Act as escalation point for complex, cross-Sales Unit, or cross-border opportunities involving assigned GSIs. Track and report on GSI-influenced pipeline, win rates, and joint business plan progress - contributing to the team’s performance transparency. Represent Siemens at industry events, partner forums, and executive engagements - providing thought leadership and positioning Siemens as the partner of choice in IT/OT transformation. Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiated partner-led solutions, feeding input into the broader Global System Integrators team strategy.

Collaboration & Execution Support Collaborate with Partner Strategy & Operations on global partner tools, deal registration standards, and performance governance frameworks relevant to assigned GSI accounts. Work with Vertical Governance & Operations to align GSI engagement with vertical-specific priorities and ensure partner capabilities are mapped to the right verticals and solution plays. Support the development of global agreements and commercial frameworks for assigned GSIs, coordinating across Sales Units and functions.

Your defining qualities

Experience & Skills 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner management, or business development, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets across global markets. 5+ years of hands-on experience managing strategic relationships with Global System Integrators - including joint business planning, co-sell program management, C-level executive engagement, and cross-border opportunity coordination. Proven ability to build and scale GSI practices through routes-to-market design, enablement programs, and certification frameworks. Strong understanding of GSI business models, go-to-market motions (sell-with and sell-to), and how technology companies build and manage strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators. Deep familiarity with OT/IT convergence, digital transformation, and industrial sector dynamics across verticals such as manufacturing, energy, automotive, or semiconductors. Proficiency with CRM-based opportunity management and partner performance tracking (e.g., Salesforce); willingness to travel internationally.

Ways of working Collaborative working style - comfortable navigating a matrixed global organization and building trusted relationships across Sales Units, business units, and functions. Structured and self-directed - able to manage a portfolio of complex GSI relationships with limited day-to-day direction. Comfortable operating in a global environment where execution happens in Sales Units and your role is to govern, align, and enable - not to execute locally. Strong executive communication and influencing skills - able to engage credibly at C-level and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. University degree in a relevant discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Familiarity with technology companies operating models is a benefit, not a requirement. Languages: High proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
