Your new job includes
We are currently establishing a new legal entity in Rodby to operate our future retail business on ferry routes as well as in border shops, which will take place once regulatory approval has been granted.
In the position of HR Generalist Payroll (m/f/d), you will be working hybrid or be based in Rødby and report directly to the Head of People & Culture. As the central point of contact for payroll matters, you ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and maritime wage settlements and guarantee a fully compliant payroll operation for the Danish entity. In addition, you act as a reliable interface between HR and Finance, providing professional support on all payroll-related topics. In particular, you will:
- ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll and progressively build expertise in maritime wage settlements (DIS)
- guarantee full compliance with all applicable Danish tax, labour, and social security regulations
- independently manage payroll processes for the Danish entity, including legal and collective agreement-related evaluations
- prepare, maintain, and manage payroll- and HR-related documentation and records
- act as the central point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, authorities, auditors, as well as HR and Finance
- continuously develop and optimise payroll processes, data quality, and system usage
What you should bring along
- Several years of experience in payroll in Denmark
- Strong knowledge of Danish tax, labour, and social security law
- Confident handling of payroll and time management systems (e.g. LessorLon) as well as MS Office
- Excellent English and Danish skills, both written and spoken, combined with a strong service-oriented and hands-on mindset
- A structured, analytical, and independent working style with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines
