Job Summary

The VP, Customer Business Unit Lead EMEA will be based in Stuttgart, Germany.

In this role, you will lead the commercial strategy and growth agenda for the EMEA Automotive business, developing executive customer relationships, expanding market share, and driving profitable revenue growth across a significant customer portfolio. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape long-term business strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and strengthen Flex's position as a trusted partner to leading automotive OEMs.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Define and execute the EMEA commercial growth strategy, driving revenue expansion, profitability, and market penetration.
• Own executive-level customer relationships and serve as the primary commercial sponsor for strategic automotive accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and adjacent growth areas that support long-term business objectives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing commercial organization across business development, sales, and account management.
• Drive strategic account planning, customer acquisition, business retention, and growth initiatives across the region.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations, contract strategies, and executive customer engagements.
• Provide commercial leadership for major pursuits, ensuring winning strategies and effective cross-functional engagement.
• Manage a substantial business portfolio, balancing growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and strategic positioning.
• Present commercial performance, strategic opportunities, and market insights to executive leadership.
• Coach and mentor future leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Significant executive leadership experience in automotive, EMS, manufacturing, and a strong understanding of customer segments and market dynamics within the automotive OEM and/or EMS environment.
• Proven success leading large customer portfolios, strategic accounts, and commercial organizations in a global environment.
• Strong track record of delivering profitable growth and building long-term customer partnerships at executive level.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and influencing C-level stakeholders.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing large revenue portfolios and growth strategies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, global environment and travel as required.
